Didn’t know what to expect when we drove up but WOW! Everyone in our party of four ordered something different and each dish was delicious. VERY casual but clean and the food was super fresh. Get there earlier in the evening because the most popular dishes sell out.

Amazing food, terrific environment. King and Cory treat their guests to down home Creole food. With a few tables inside and more tables outside, this restaurant is a welcoming spot for lunch or dinner. The menu changes daily, depending upon what locally grown food is available. And they have nailed the spirit of Pahoa. Family oriented. Good music. Great food. Welcoming chefs. BYOB and enjoy your meal.

Great people and tasty food. Super family and kid friendly. Portions except fried chicken are pretty small, 3 ribs with very little meat. Probably 3oz pulled pork, small bowl of gumbo. shrimp sandwich is whole shrimp po boy, with Cole slaw on one bun and shrimp on other. Again, all very tasty. I hope to hear they increase portion size.

Great atmosphere and good food, a welcome change up from the more commercial areas and restaurants. Owner talked to us for awhile and gave us a tour of the place. Hard to find good Southern cookin’ in Hawaii. Would recommend.

Ate here after seeing the lava flow since it’s one of the few places nearby open late. Amazing catfish plate with a couple of fun live music acts. Owner is exceptionally friendly and welcoming, even for Hawaii.

We had so much funand felt right at home at this family run restaraunt. The slow cooked beef was amazing, and the hospitality felt more like a B&B than a restaraunt. Looking forward to going back on nights when they also have live entertainment.

Best food on island. If ever in Hawaii this place is a must! Great food, music, and grooves. Gotta check out the Keiki (children) area! Great for whole family.
