Damn good burgers!!! However when you order ice cream they are not very generous with the toppings. Makes me want to go elsewhere. Had the Kreckels sundae with very little hot fudge , 4 slices of a banana and NO pecans as indicated. They did put whipped cream on to cover the lack of toppings. Highly disappointed.

Order a horse shoe. A poney is to come with one slice of meat while a horse comes with 2. When I got home I only had one slice of chicken. When already 5.00 more than any place I normally eat at. And more than Locals and the other bar. It is a shame a company with multiple locations originating out of Decatur would do that. It’s more understandable from Decatur than a small town of Pawnee where almost everyone knows each other. Than when calling 10 mins later back to back for 10 mins they refused to answer.

Ordered a horseshoe. Got a cheese free ponyshoe. Last 3 times I’ve gone to Krekel’s, there was only once when I got good food and service. Doubt I’ll ever go back. From now on I’ll drive a few more miles and go to Bill’s Toasty in Taylorville.
