The owners are very nice people. The only reason I’m disappointed right now is because several of us called them multiple times to make sure they still have crawfish today, and no one answered or called back. After an hour, the time, and gas was wasted going all the way out there just to be told they didn’t have anything. Wanted to give them another shot because the last time we ordered there the crawfish was only able to actually peel and eat a little over half the entire order. Luckily we found another local stand that answered the phone and had cheaper prices.

As someone who was born and raised in Louisiana, I have been eating crawfish since about 7 years old. While the flavor was more authentic, their process is clearly not. Most of them were not purged which means they don’t take the time to fully purge the crawfish, which will change the flavor and consistency of the meat, no one likes a mouthful of dirt. They were also extremely hard to peel. When crawfish are cooked correctly, this should never be a problem. Twist pinch and pull, if your crawfish don’t peel this way, you aren’t cooking it correctly. I wish I could give a 3.5 but I bumped it to 4 since I can’t. Would I eat it again, yes, is it my favorite in the area, no.

I have no idea why this place has any decent reviews. The entire lack of customers (when the snowcone stand had a half hour wait) should have been our first clue that it wasn’t worth the 5 minute drive or putting on a bra to leave the house. Neither the crawfish nor potatoes were purged/cleaned, and both tasted like mud. Speaking of mud, there was quite a bit of mud and debris still on the crawfish and potatoes. I get that they’re “mudbugs,” but you’re not supposed to taste like you’re licking Sabine River soaked waders. The only thing that didn’t taste like dirt was the corn, which came entirely unseasoned. As a bonus, I also got a couple of snail shells in my order. This place is my biggest culinary regret, and I’ve been to a backwoords Oklahoma Applebees. I’d try gas station sashimi washed down with water straight from Mexico before going to Krawdaddy’s again. Save yourself the frustration and go to Big Sandy. -10/10 would not do.

Come on look where you are buying these crawfish!!!! Lol off a dang truck!!!lol why didn’t you look at these crawfish before you left? Maybe they were selling them raw and you were supposed to cook them first!!! Lol I will not pay $88 for crawfish. I would have walked off and let them have them for lunch. That one is on you!!!lol Don’t make such complaints to get them out of business when in reality it is partially your fault. When you don’t look before you leave or eat it’s on you. If you don’t ask questions it’s on you. Just let them know. They could have helped you and provided better crawfish. Cooked or raw. Just think before you accuse and make someone look bad. Don’t text me with bull because I will block you. This is just my opinion.

I had got 2 pounds of crawfish which was horrible. Little crawfish, hair in my crawfish, could be seasoned better. I can go on but what I got was not worth $18 AT ALL!

Got some crawfish here for my first boil! Really reasonably priced compared to some other places. The crawfish looked healthy and after washing them I had very few dead ones. Make your order online and pick them up…simple. The guys working there friendly. Definitely recommend!

Crawfish were not purged and hard to peel. The corn had a sour taste and potatoes were very hard. I bought two dozen of tamales and one dozen had a very tangy taste. I called the number that’s displayed on the website and never got an answer.
