I was in a party of five and Roman was our server for the evening. He took our drink orders swiftly. I wanted hot sweet tea w/lemons but was told that wasn’t available and that he could bring me a cup of hot plain tea. I was brought a cup of hot water with a tea bag in it on a saucer. No lemons but I didn’t make a big deal about it because one of the other guests in my party had some on the table already. He delivered the drinks in a timely manner and then took our food orders answering questions when needed to. All of our food orders were correct except one. The party guest received fried crab claws instead chicken tenders and made Roman aware of the mistake. This is why the 3star rating comes into play….Roman told the guest that he had to give him the crab claws back and he would bring him the chicken tenders. I asked him why was he taking them back because they were just going to throw them away and that most restaurants would just let the guest keep the food and replace it with the missing item especially since the food would be thrown out. Roman stated that it was as company policy to take the food back and throw it away. I have to say that is one of the most ridiculous company policies that I have ever heard of especially for the return food to just be thrown away. That’s a big red flag of Kraver’s saying that they don’t really care about their customer’s to take food back just to throw it away! I have NEVER heard of a business doing that especially when the order was incorrect. That’s NOT being customer service oriented and also made us feel as though our business wasn’t valued nor appreciated. Mr. Owner don’t jump on my review trying to get facetious with me because I clap back. Be mindful of that if you do give a response. Roman wasn’t vey attentive after that to the point that we had to ask another server for togo plates who was passing by. We didn’t even receive drink refills. We only left a 15% tip because of the mediocre service.

Last night, I dined at the establishment and had a mostly enjoyable experience. The food was fantastic, and my waitress was extremely kind and attentive. However, I did run into an issue with my drink. I ordered a lemon drop, but what I received tasted more like watered-down Sprite.

I politely asked for the manager to see if the drink could be remade or adjusted. The manager came quickly, but instead of offering a solution, the manager insisted the bartender made it correctly. The conversation turned into a back-and-forth, and rather than escalate the issue, I just accepted the drink as it was—even though I did not enjoy it.

When dining out, I believe the experience should be pleasant and flexible, especially with something as fixable as a drink. Whether remaking it or offering an alternative, it should never feel like a debate. To my disappointment, when I left, the manager rolled her eyes, which made me feel unwelcome. Unfortunately, because of that interaction, I won’t be returning. It’s a shame because the food and the service, outside of that moment, were truly enjoyable.

Great place to eat in West Mobile. Not many local restaurants to pick from, but this one is one you need to try. Good food and good prices. Classic gulf coast seafood menu, and a good selection of drinks.

Our server Beth was phenomenal! The food looked too good to snap a picture. It’s well worth the money. Even on an empty stomach, 8 had to get a to go box.

To start, their google says all you can eat. It is not, no big deal. I ordered the sampler. Other than the shells being different, it all tasted the same. The crab was basically finger tips, the fries were under cooked and frankly the crap, shrimp, catfish all tasted exactly the same.

The parking lot was packed so we thought it was going to be good. Myself and my crew were sadly disappointed and we love to get seafood when we are down here. Then top it off, I think our server was having a bad night because she had severe RBF and seemed put out to refill our sweet tea and answer questions on the menu……..I think all their food is fried in the same seasonings and together in the same oil honestly.

I do have to add that the gumbo was delicious!

My husband and I went for a date lunch on 12/20/25 and we had the best experience. Starting with the service, it was the best ever. Our waiter took great care of us. The food was so good. The crab cake was the best I have had from anywhere. We love the family atmosphere. Loved seeing the Christmas shirts and the Alabama ones also, they had won a great game the night before. We will be back soon.
Merry Christmas from a Mississippi girl.

I hate to use superlatives, but this is consistently the best seafood in the Mobile area. Notice the word “consistent”… very important. The food is tremendous and fresh. Service is always good. Last night we had a young man who was very good for a quasi-rowdy, sometimes demanding party of nine. He was very accommodating. Many times there is a wait but, hey, it’s in demand. Gotta appreciate that. Usually, though, they get you seated in a timely manner and it’s always well worth the wait. Very good place for large parties. It’s a safe bet to direct out of town visitors here for good seafood (remember, consistent). Can’t miss with Kravers!

If u get the fried fish be prepared to take a blood pressure pill! The breading is so salty i couldn’t hardly stand to eat it. I ate 2 pieces and gave the rest away! Way way way over salted breading on the fried fish! Made my head hurt and ears ring so salty. Please please stop ruining a good plate of fish with too salty breading. What a waste!
