The flavor? Unreal. The mac had visible seasoning (my love language), the kale was so tender and delicious, and the chili salmon was tender, moist, and cooked perfectly.
The oxtails were tender and well seasoned and very generous in potions size.
And the desserts… listen. The coco velvet a take on red velvet was rich, moist, and full of bold coconut flavor. Dangerous in the best way.
What I loved most: everything tasted amazing without that heavy, post‑soul‑food slump. This was food that hit the body and the soul just right.
Only regret: I can’t squeeze in a fourth visit this week. Also a gem about this place is the service people, they were so kind and friendly and you could tell they enjoy feeding people.
Definitely a gem!
All the staff were happy to be there. Everybody was smiling. The food on display looked tantalizing as heck, all fresh and incredible smelling. Staff were very pleasant to talk to and explained their rotating small menu in a friendly, concise, and informative manner.
Went out to eat in my truck and omg the food was in the top 5 meals I’ve ever had in my life. The ingredients were of high quality. Flavors were rich and powerful. Everything seasoned to perfection. All the textures were on point.
I hope they don’t change anything anytime soon because this has got to be in the top 2 best restaurants I’ve ever been to. 10/10 would recommend. Food like this is pretty rare.
**mobile orders wouldn’t be so bad either.
The coconut velvet cake, OMG.
You’ve gotta try Krave!
For food, I tried a mix: the turkey wings and a smothered chop, plus a veggie-style side. The wings had a nice flavor, well-seasoned without being overly spicy, and the chop came out tender and satisfying. Portions felt generous — I left full but not overly stuffed, which I appreciate when I don’t want to overeat but still want a hearty meal. For dessert, I got a slice of peach cobbler plus banana pudding. Perfect finish: comforting, not overly sweet, and just the right kind of “homemade” dessert feel to round out dinner.
The staff were friendly and welcoming — refilled drinks when needed, checked in at easy intervals, and didn’t hover. Even when the place got a little busy, I didn’t feel rushed or ignored. The overall energy was relaxed and inviting, like a place you could drop by regularly and always feel comfortable.
What stands out about Krave is that they deliver honest, no-frills comfort food with flavor and warmth. It’s not trying to be fancy; it’s just good food done right. If you want a cozy meal, a decent dessert, and a welcoming spot that feels familiar — Krave Eatery & Dessert Shop hits that mark. I’d definitely go back next time I’m in the area and craving something simple but satisfying.
Price: NOT cheap. $30ish for protein, 3 sides, dessert, and bottled soda
Serving Size: enough for 3 meals!
Service: above and beyond! These folks really appreciate their customers. You can tell they also love this food and they aren’t afraid to tell you so!
Quality: Superb. I don’t have the proper words to describe how good this food is. It’s like nothing around here.

I will be going back!
