We are Polish and my wife is a great cook so we know food. There were seven of us and all the food was great. The mushroom soup really impressed my wife. I told her she has to get a job there and steal the receipt. Well worth the trip if you appreciate good food.

Krakus is a nice place in Wallington, NJ, that serves really good Polish food. I recently went there and people working there were friendly and helpful. For my main dish, I had a Chicken Cutlet. It was juicy and had a crispy outside, and came with soft mashed potatoes and cooked vegetables. I enjoyed it a lot. After my meal, I had blintzes for dessert. They were thin, filled with sweet cheese, and tasted great. The flavors went well together and made me feel happy. If you want to try some good Polish food in Wallington, NJ, you should go to Krakus. It’s a great spot for anyone eating alone or with others.

Polish restaurant with standard polish food options. Food was good, liked the stuffed cabbage in particular. Service was mediocre to poor, long wait for food and the poor lady serving seemed not used to waiting on tables, maybe didnt know what to do, or was so used to regulars that she assumed we already knew everything at the bar and on the menu. Ambiance was strange too, tense feeling overall. That being said, scratched an itch. Not sure id go back though

Let me tell you something, wow … don’t let the color fool you, this pork hock ( wow ) is super tasty juicy and delicious. It’s the best I ever tasted before. My daughter’s pierogi with meat is also so yum.
We are definitely going back for sure.

The old lady should not answer the phone!!
I tried to order the pierogies over the phone and her attitude was awful. She picked the phone as if I was bothering her with my call. Then I asked for ruskie pierogi and she said” I don’t have it” with disrespectful attitude. I asked if she can check perhaps and call me back. She stated “I am busy…I have party in few minutes…and then she put me on hold…”
I hung up the phone. I was shocked that someone working in the restaurant has that kind of attitude and still works!!! The owner should pay attention to her closely. These polish restaurants have competition in that area. I don’t think the owner can afford to loose customers!!

We came to have a lunch. The food was so delicious, authentic Polish food. We ordered chicken noddle soup, Polish Platters, chicken Devorah, coffee and the blintzes. The lady was very kind and warm. We”ll come back.
