What a hidden gem in Woonsocket, RI!!

I recently started following this family business and the dad posted this picture of the sandwich of the day on Monday, being a Polish Reuben. My mouth started to salivate and planned to take the 17 minute trip to pickup two of these bad boys. The main difference with these is they used incredible white, sliced, Polish Kielbasa. What a nice variation. And the large, which can easily feed 2 was $14ish.

Not only do they have an amazing sandwich, and insanely huge for the $14 each one cost, they have an amazing deli and Polish store. I wanted Sauerkraut, and got a real Polish jar of it. They also have breads and patries and just about everything you would want that is different from any store around.

The mom and daughter I met, were SO nice. The daughter is fluent in English. Mom is good with English but that what makes her authentic and so happy I finally went. Next time I go, I hope to post the picture of the sandwich menu and keep a picture handy, so I can have it handy because I will be back and hopefully more often than I plan.

The picture of the massive sandwich that fills the Styrofoam box, is only half of the “Large” sandwich. And it was SO freaking good.

I loved everything about this place! I was greeted warmly when I entered. I couldn’t wait to browse all the products and get some hot pierogis to go. I am of Polish heritage and was happy to find sour cream cookies with prune filling like my great-grandma used to make. I highly recommend getting their “dirty” sour cream to go with the pierogis. I tried both the cabbage filled and the potato filled and both varieties were excellent. This is a cheerful spot and I can’t wait to go back and get some more for and doa little shopping!

My father and I love to come here for the perogies and golumpkie stew. Everything is delicious. The staff is friendly and capable. The atmosphere feels authentic. A hidden gem for foodies to discover.

I recently discovered Krakow Deli Bakery Smokehouse, a hidden gem in Woonsocket serving authentic Polish cuisine. On my visit, I picked up some mouthwatering kielbasa, krokiety, gołąbki, & stuffed peppers with tomato sauce. I also grabbed some frozen lazy pierogi & cabbage kielbasa soup to enjoy later. Although I passed on the gelato at 9 a.m., it’s definitely a good excuse to go back!

Absolutely delicious! We stopped in for lunch and had a lovely time. The service was friendly and our food was ready in just a few minutes. The pierogi and kielbasa plate was SO good and just perfect for lunch on a cold day. I can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend for anyone in the area.

Came in on National Pierogi Day and was blown away. Everything is made fresh with real, homemade ingredients and rich flavor. You can tell they take pride in every dish. Kasia nailed the recommendation, the Golumpki with mushroom sauce! was outstanding. I’ll be back soon to try more

I saw an ad in the local free paper and as it was close to my work, I thought I’d check it out. We have a Polish student staying with us currently so I wanted to tell her about it if she was desperately missing anything from home.
I was very impressed with the welcoming atmosphere, the wide range of Polish/Slavic foods. Their deli board was very impressive and I was tempted by their home made cheesecake.
Overall, a worthwhile visit. Next time I will bring our guest to decipher some of the names.

Fantastic. I loved it. “Tastes just like home”
We dined in; it’s mostly a store but they have two large tables and two great couches!
We ordered their #18 which is pierogis, golabek and a croquette served with fresh bread. Amazing. Everything was delicious. I cannot wait to come back and order this again when I’m not full anymore lol
It’s mostly a store and every other customer who came in only did groceries, to-go and take out. We ordered a potato salad and tomato gravy to go after because it was so good.
The Gołąbki was amazing with tomato gravy.
This could be such an adorable place to enjoy a tea and relax with a Polish news paper if they played low music.
They have cooking classes to learn how to make fresh pierogi and a great Polish deli with ready made soups.

It is very casual because it is like a deli but I would 1000% just come here to hang out on their couches still with this amazing food.

This place is a surprise. Really great food, served by a dedicated staff, and a unique place to have a quick lunch – a couple of communal tables inside the store, serving a menu (you need to ask for) that consists of Smokey kielbasa, light and gnocchi-like pierogi, served with delicious rye bread and sour cream. It’s definitely worth the detour if you’re anywhere nearby, and we will be back soon. There are fresh breads, kielbasas, various smoked pork products, frozen pierogi, cabbage rolls etc. at the deli too. Old school place with fantastic food, and ambience. The gelato was an added surprise – recommend the blackberry, but apparently many flavors are great , and sell out. Put it on your list! Joy!
