Okay first of all… this place is the definition of “don’t judge a book by its cover.” Total hole-in-the-wall vibes — and I mean that in the best possible way. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
If you drive past it, turn around. I’m serious. Do not pass this place up.
The French dip? Hands down the best I have ever had. The beef was incredibly tender and packed with flavor, piled high on perfectly soft bread that somehow held up to that rich, savory au jus without falling apart. And the au jus itself? Deep, beefy, not watered down — just chef’s kiss. I’d go back for that sandwich alone.
We also tried the fish and chips, and they were solid — crispy, golden batter, flaky fish, and fries done just right. Really good. But honestly? The French dip stole the show. It’s the kind of sandwich you think about the next day.
Service was so friendly, atmosphere was relaxed and unpretentious, and the food felt like it was made with care. This is the kind of spot locals hope stays a secret — but it deserves the hype.

While visiting family and friends over Thanksgiving, we stopped by Kraken’s Cove for dinner with our sons—and what a fantastic night it turned into! We enjoyed charcuterie and beers during happy hour, then moved on to an amazing dinner of fish and chips, chowder, the Kraken burger, and grilled shrimp. We ended up staying for Trivia Night, which made the evening even more fun. Great atmosphere, great food, and such a memorable night!

This place has the “dive bar” look with fantastic food. They have a limitedenu, and apparently they do everything right, making for a fantastic dining experience. I had the French Dip, my son had the Fish and Chips. The French Dip was filling and delicious. I was a little skeptical about the skirt steak, but it melted in my mouth. The fish was perfectly crusted and was a couple of beautiful pieces of fish. Even being different thicknesses, the fillets were each properly cooked. The fries are a barely breaded crust with fluffy interiors. We thought the food a little pricey at first, but the quality is superior to the price, making it a great meal for the price. It’s July 4th, and the whole family is here serving up great food. You won’t be disappointed! It’s a great meal in a relaxed atmosphere with great service. I’ll definitely come back … on my next visit from Texas!

The food here is super good, but what sealed this as one of our new favorite places was the staff. Our waitress was a HOOT! Had us smiling the whole time. French dip was so good and the cook caramelized those onions perfectly, paired with flavorful au jus on the side, battered fries and my husband loved his fish and chips. The star of the show was the CLAM CHOWDER!! Business got slow and the cook popped out to say hello, we thought that was super cool. We will be coming back here for sure. Glad we found this little gem. Atmosphere was cozy.

Went here tonight for the Seahawks game. Wow! What a great atmosphere! Even though it was packed with hawks fans the service was great. The food was amazing and we got to see the hawks beat the niners in a blowout. My wife and I will be going back for the NFC championship game! So much fun!

Ate a late lunch here on Saturday with my mom and sister. The server was very nice, however, when it came to paying the bill I was charged twice. Instead of voiding one of the transactions, the server gave me the amount in cash because of technology issues. I was fine with this, but I just looked at my credit card transactions and they charged the tip amount on both transactions. So I ended up paying a $40 tip on a $90 meal. I tried calling the restaurant and the voicemail didnt seem to work well. I hate giving poor reviews, but this is ridiculous ……

Our new favorite brunch spot! Today, I tried the Shrimp Scampi Eggs Benedict; last time, I had the Salmon Eggs Benedict- they were both incredible. My husband loved the Chicken Fried Steak! The view was beautiful, the football game was on and Blood Mary’s were delicious! Come check them out for a leaisurely Sunday brunch!

Greeted immediately entering the establishment… quickly seated , and offered a drink. Amber the server was extremely nice. She was very welcoming. I went with the seafood Alfredo. It was amazing !!! The Salmon, cod and prawns tasted fresh and not gamey, The noodles were Al dente. The vegetables were chard to perfection.
