Honest review from an Asians point of view.. food bland, wasn’t hot when it came out. Felt like i was eating unsalted butter only. Came in around 1pm. It wasn’t busy and price point was too high for the quality of food. But I wanted seafood so I got seafood paid probably 55? for this….

The gator fried rice is to die for!! It’s most definitely the best fried rice I’ve ever had in this town. The seafood boil came out pretty quick, was super affordable compared to other places here in town and was fantastic! My wife and I will definitely be returning for more!

Where to start. The food and flavor was 100/10!! The service by our host Jennifer was amazing, she even tied our bibs on lol. The prices were about average. But honestly some of the best food we’ve had in Springfield, we were told the recipes came straight from Louisiana and I can believe it! Must try.

Everyone i spoke to in person at the restaurant was amazing. Those who brought out my food, the person who took my order, how they packaged my food to avoid my food being soggy taking it to the next location.
The food was delicious. The fries had a great flavor, the krakin special was really good. All of the foods that were in the special was good, but the shrimp was AMAZING!!! I would recommend the whole experience.

Very friendly and prompt service; some of the best we’ve received in Springfield. The fried gator bites were a little disappointing compared to ones I’ve had in Louisiana, but the other food made up for it. I’d like to see some kind of vegetable side on the menu that isn’t deep-fried. Appreciate the hand wash stations – such a good idea! I wish more restaurants had them.

Absolutely fantastic crab legs I was blown away. My son had chicken strips. He is a chicken strip connoisseur and these were hand battered! He also chose the seasoning for his fries, Cajun, and absolutely loved it. Service was great and we even bumped into the chef to tell him what an excellent job he did and providing such great food.

If you have to put seasoning on top of Seafood. You can’t cook period. Also DON’T go here if you have ALPHA GAL! We asked for sausage on the side of our boil and got it in it. Then the waitress came back and asked if we got our sausage on the side ten minutes later.. I replied with “nope. I’ve got an EpiPen.” Aside from that, the seafood is definitely not seasoned at all. We got Hot Cajun seasoned everything.. whatever seasoning they used, it wasn’t Cajun. However the shells were seasoned with whatever seasoning and oils they had. Our food wasn’t buttery, it was OILY. We will not be going back. If I were you I wouldn’t waste my dime here. I don’t think they know what Louisiana Cajun Crawfish and Shrimp boil mix is.. or Old Bay..

I hate to toot my own horn, by the Hillbilly hit a Grand Slam when he picked the Krackin Cajun Seafood House for dinner. I’m told they’ve been open on S. Campbell for 2 years, and somehow Mrs. HB and I have missed this place!
The prices are a little higher than some, but the portion sizes more than make up for it.
Lean (as in I lean to the left or right) was wonderful! She helped us pick out our meal and was very attentive. But what really impressed me was how incredibly patient with an issue that was not her fault at another table… just fantastic service!
The other reason for stopping in is how incredibly tasty everything is! I’m declaring right now, the Gater Bites are the best I’ve ever had! Tender, not chewy and so tasty… MMM!
I know I’ve used a lot of !’s in this post. But this place earned them. We will be back!

We enjoyed our food and our time here. I had the Krakis Seafood Basket which had gater,crawfish and shrimp and liked them all with my sweet potato fries. For the sweet potato fries there is marshmallow sauce. For everything else I used the house Krackin Cajun sauce. Yum! My friends had fried okra and fried pickles with their meat dishes. Other people in the restaurant were having the boil dish.

The food was AMAZING, and our server Kristina was so nice and attentive. We tried the calamari, shrimp fried rice, and the Holiday special that came with crab legs, shrimp, potatoes, and corn. The dessert was great too! We got the fried bananas and raspberry cheesecake. The food was flavorful and did not disappoint! We are from KC, and this will definitely be our go-to place every time we come down this way!! Forget that place that serves the rolls!!!!
