After walking around to see what was offered throughout this place, we ordered some bowls of chicken and noodles, crab and rice, as well as chicken with no sauce. We ordered a side of sticky rice since everything is basically separate. They do inform you of the levels of spicy and someone ordered a level “3” ands said it was pretty spicy. We also ordered subs drinks that come in bear containers which is pretty cute; however, they don’t have ice which was disappointing because the drink gets warm from holding or just from the warm environment. They also didn’t have straws so we got some from another eatery. The food was delicious and fresh but I took a star of for no ice for our drinks. Also it’s pretty expensive and we spent over $100 for four people.

Great Thai food with fast counter service. We ordered the Pad Thai and Pad see ew and both were fantastic. Very flavorful. The portions were a great size and filled us up. Service was friendly and quick. Be aware, they take their spice seriously! Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options!

Thai inspired rice and/or noodle bowls that are impressive in terms of quantity and freshness. I ordered the krapow bowl with the BBQ pork, medium spicy, with noodles instead of rice (+$2). The pork had a very nice grilled char to them and the spiciness level was no joke, which I enjoyed. I will dock one star for the noodles, which were a bit too soft, and the pineapple agua fresca which my wife and I both thought tasted too syrupy and sweet (not refreshing). But these are minor quibbles for an otherwise excellent addition to the Whittier dining scene.

Amazing food and service! We got the crab fried rice which came with lump crab meat and a delicious little deep fried softshell crab. Authentic tasting papaya salad. Addicting Thai spiced tater tots. Must try.

I must admit, I was a bit skeptical about the price of their fried rice and shrimp plate, which came in at $22. However, I decided to give it a try, as I was genuinely eager to experience their culinary offerings. Unfortunately, my expectations were met with a significant letdown. The rice lacked any discernible flavor, almost tasting like oil. If I were seeking a less flavorful rice dish, I would have opted for Panda Express instead.

The Thai seasoned tater tots are fantastic. They were able to make most of the menu gluten free. Service was friendly and patient as we navigated the our special dietary needs. We will definitely be back.

I really enjoyed my meal at Kra-Pow in Whittier, CA. I’d been wanting some good Thai food, and this place hit the spot. I got their Kra-Pow bowl with chicken, and it was super tasty. It had a nice mix of savory, spicy, and fresh herb flavors. The chicken was cooked just right, and there was plenty of basil, chilies, and onions, which I loved.
SO had the same, but with beef. We enjoy spicy food and did level 3. I’ll probably give a level 4 next

This was my first time visiting Krapow, and the entire experience was fantastic. My friend and I shared a few dishes — the Grilled Pork with Spicy Rice and the Padseeeew at level 3 spiciness. Everything was cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. The pork was juicy and beautifully grilled, served with a delicious sauce on the side. The noodles were absolutely mouthwatering — some of the best I’ve had! I’ve been to many Thai restaurants, but this one truly stands out as the most delicious. The portion sizes were generous, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

Shrimp curry was too watery and shrimp lacked so much flavor. Also, bbq pork and rice was extremely mid and tasted like it was cooked at home, and not in a good way.
The crab fried rice is decent but wouldn’t get again and again.
There are other great places at this food hall which we very much enjoy! However, Chef needs to revisit his recipes at KRA-POW.
