Our group of 5 tried KRs for the first time and we’re glad that we did.
New owners have had it open for just a few months. Very limited menu but great place to stop for a drink and good burger or some apps.
We all had a Bloody Mary with deep fried mushrooms as a starter then all ordered burgers with tater tots instead of fries ( $1.50 upgrade charge).
The Ma Burger was fantastic and juicy. Had cheese, thick cut bacon, onion, lettuce, tomatoe, mushrooms and their own “KR Sauce”. Tots crispy and delicious as well. Can upgrade to a pa burger that has an extra burger on it for about $3.
All of our food came out together and was hot/fresh.
Mary our server/ bartender was a delight to meet and very personable.
Chatted with the new owner as well who was also very friendly.

They just opened and I live nearby, it’s really good food and they will get better in time, they were still learning the systems etc…but I plan on being a frequent foodie here, not a drinker so idk about that but looked stocked. Next time I’ll add pics. I definitely think you should try this place and help Kettle River MN to get back on theap, convenient location right off MN 73.
