Celebrated my birthday today & would normally plan a dinner with all of my closest friends, but decided not to this year. So one of my closest friends wanted to treat me to dinner, so we decided to try a new spot. We came across KP’s and surprised everything we had. It wasn’t busy at all when we were in there, very quaint.

Our server, Ashlyn was very friendly and attentive. The items she suggested were tasty! I had the crispy sweet & sour shrimp that came with slaw & fries, my friend had the 12hr ribs with double fries and we had the honey bbq wings as an appetizer.

Definitely will go back.

Food and service is impeccable. It was our first time here and everything we ordered was amazing. Ashlynn (our server) was super friendly, one of the better customer service l’ve had in a long time and the owner KP was very hands on walking around, making sure we were fine which I thought was a nice touch. I kept thinking why isn’t this restaurant talked about enough because the food was 10/10. Faculty and restrooms were clean, vibes were right. Overall food and service was fantastic, doesn’t get any better than that!

Had a lovely time at KPs. The space felt cozy and welcoming, and the staff were genuinely kind. The crispy chicken with biscuits and spicy jam was delicious, and the salmon avocado toast was fresh and full of flavor. Everything was just right, and we will definitely return.

Perfect atmosphere! The staff made you feel welcomed. The food came out quickly and was very delicious. Everything made from scratch. The place was packed but yet it was still quiet. PLEASE TRY KP’s Kitchen!!

I was very excited to try this place because I looked at the menu and saw quite a variety.

When I arrived, the patio area looked spacious and comfortable. When I walked in the restaurant I immediately felt cramped. There was no host stand, you just kinda stand at the door and wait to be acknowledged.

Someone greeted us pretty quickly so I was still hopeful. The seating area had you in very close proximity of the next guests. Not a deal breaker but not a good option for seating.

Overall the service was good.

I ordered the Sour Cherry Lemon Drop and I think they forgot to add cherry and vodka. The drink was watery and bland.

I decided not to get an appetizer and just get a dinner option. I asked the waiter about his favorite option but I chose to try the 12 hour ribs. My husband got the chicken (because it’s hard to mess up chicken).

Unfortunately they found a way to mess up the chicken and the ribs. The ribs fell right off the bone but had no flavor except the sauce and the chicken was just as bland. You know it’s bad when the best thing you ate were the Brussel sprouts (which were really good and the only reason for the second star for the food). To top it off, the bill was over $75.

Now I don’t really complain much about restaurants but the main reason I go out is to get good food (because I know how to cook and I’m pretty good).

I will say, the service was good and I liked the atmosphere but the food definitely had no flavor.

Maybe I should have gotten a burger or some other sandwich or the pork chop. I’ll never know because I don’t plan to go back.

Tip for the establishment … add salt … it goes a long way in improving the taste and flavor. (A little pepper wouldn’t hurt either)

One of our new favorites is KP’s Kitchen. We’ve been going weekly now! Funny enough, it started popping up in reviews a couple of months ago, but for some reason, we never made it over—until recently. And let me tell you, it’s been fantastic ever since. Service is a big deal for me, and the management and staff are truly top-notch. Now, let’s talk about the food… absolutely delicious! I had the cheeseburger—easily one of the best in Houston, if not the best. The Hubby had the steak sandwich, and it was just as amazing. For appetizers we had the meatballs (I’ve been on a meatball kick lately) and the deviled eggs. The meatballs are also tops in the city. Highly recommend KP’s Kitchen.

This place was amazing. The food was incredible. The service stellar. So friendly and helpful. Our first time here.
We had to check it out after seeing a prior review, giving it a one star due to supporting LGBT causes. So of course we had to go, it did not disappoint.
We are already planning our next visit with what to order next time.
This was the grilled Bronzino fish, it came with enormous side of truffle fries, and an enormous arugula salad with fennel shaved. We also added fried artichoke. All were top-notch.

We love KPs.
They’re so friendly and KP always talks to us while we are there. Sometimes he takes our order too and no waiter ever makes us wait for any thing. They work so well as a team! The burgers are super good, my kids request them for celebrations. I really enjoy the fried artichoke hearts and cauliflower that is unique, slightly tart. KP’s makes an old fashioned style cheesecake that is scrumptious and named after his grandma. We love KPs on a Sunday afternoon for the cool vibes my whole family can get into.

Tried the grilled Bronzino and it was cooked beautifully with clean and rich flavor. The truffle fries came in a very generous portion, and the arugula salad with shaved fennel felt fresh and well balanced. The fried artichoke was a great addition and tasted excellent. Every dish felt carefully prepared and truly impressive.

I found this place because it had great reviews and we were in the area looking for a good hamburger. The lunch menu here had a very affordable option and the hamburger was absolutely amazing. The bun was perfect ly soft and warm. The meat was delicious and flavorful and juicy. Fries were great. This is one of the better hamburgers I’ve had in a long time. I would definitely go back here again. We were there for lunch but the menu also had a great selection of wines and lots of other things on the menu besides hamburgers. The place was charming, the only reason I gave it a lower star on atmosphere was because the table I sat in had to have the table moved in order to be able to get into the booth properly. It was awkward. But once I was situated it was very comfortable.
