A Black Friday win at KPOT East!
We stopped in at KPOT on the east side for a Black Friday dinner, and WOW — this was hands-down one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Wichita. The food was fresh, the vibes were fun, and the service was absolutely top-tier.
Our server, Trinity, deserves a gold medal. She was warm, attentive, and so quick to help with anything we needed. Even on one of the busiest days of the year, she made us feel like we were her top priority. Drinks stayed full, plates cleared fast, and she checked on us at all the right moments without ever hovering.
From start to finish, everything was smooth, delicious, and genuinely enjoyable. If you’re looking for a great hot pot or Korean BBQ spot — especially with service that makes you feel taken care of — KPOT East is the place. Trinity made our night, and we’ll absolutely be back!

It really was so much fun never had experienced it before I was a little overwhelming at first, but definitely once I started getting the hang of it. It was really enjoyable our server. Michael was awesome and super attentive.

Food is authentic Korean cuisine (my girlfriend is korean so we have authority to say this) and delicious. Brandy our server was great and super attentive! I like how all the people who work at kpot seem like they all are friends and the decor is too cute – worth waiting in line for!

Brandy at KPOT Korean BBQ is not just a server — she’s a grill tactician, a vibe manager, and possibly running the place on hard mode just for fun.
From the moment we sat down, Brandy appeared like a K-drama protagonist entering in slow motion. Before we could even debate how long to cook the brisket, she was already flipping it with confidence. The grill started acting up? Fixed instantly. Meat cooking unevenly? Rearranged with surgical precision. I’m convinced the grill listens to her out of fear and respect.
Refills were automatic. Like… suspiciously automatic. I didn’t ask, blink, or even think too hard — my drink was just full again. At this point I’m assuming Brandy has psychic abilities or access to the KPOT surveillance system.
And just when I thought the experience couldn’t get better, Mike the manager made his appearance. Not the “walk-by-and-nod” type manager — the actually checks in, makes sure everything’s perfect, and radiates calm leader energy type. You can immediately tell the staff runs so smoothly because Mike’s running the show behind the scenes. Professional, friendly, and clearly sets the standard high.
Between Brandy holding down the grill and Mike holding down the restaurant, the whole place felt locked in. The teamwork was unreal. It wasn’t chaos — it was controlled excellence.
Brandy made sure we didn’t commit any Korean BBQ crimes, Mike made sure the overall experience was flawless, and together they turned a normal dinner into a full-on event.
KPOT is good on its own.
KPOT with Brandy and Mike? That’s the deluxe, VIP, director’s cut experience.

Brandy was our server and I would highly recommend! It was our first time here and she gave us the whole rundown and was on-top of drink refills and for us thats a big deal! The food was delicious and they kept the food coming! Definitely adding this to our date night list!

Absolutely loved our experience. Went for my anniversary on a whim, had never tried hot pot or Korean BBQ. Our server was Gavinth, he did a great job at explaining how the whole experience would be from ordering and pricing to waste charge. He was also very attentive as well as kind. The food was good and filling. Service was good. Andy was our server and he was a great . He was attentive and helpful. I like that they have appetizers and nice additions to our meals at the sauce bar. My daughter loves Korean bbq so this place is a go to when we are together. We don’t like smelling like bbq after but it’s still worth it every once in a while!

Just finished eating here and I had to leave a review because the service was honestly incredible. Jayden and Nick were hands-down the best waiters we’ve ever had. From the moment we sat down they were super friendly, fast, and made the whole experience way more fun. They checked on us constantly, made sure we always had what we needed, and explained everything perfectly.

The food was great and the service was perfect. Jewel was a very attentive waiter. Explained the process as this was our first time and made great recommendations of meat and sauce combos to try.
