Amazing experience! Had a great Valentines Day lunch with my girlfriend here. I do recommend calling ahead but if you’re ok with waiting, they have a bar with great drinks! I am someone that is skeptical where they make you cook your own food but this was a great date. The food options were superb. Check them out!

Had a great experience at the KPot Korean BBQ and Hot Pot in the Ypsilanti location. Our server Patrick was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout our visit. The food was fresh, well seasoned, and definitely worth the price. Everything came out quickly and the quality was consistent across the board. The atmosphere had great energy and the overall vibe made the experience even more enjoyable. We will definitely be coming back!

I havent had Korean BBQ in a very time and I have to say Ive really missed it. Our server was very friendly and nice and she got us our drinks and food we ordered promptly. The food itself was full of flavor and the drinks were creative and poured nicely. The establishment was in great shape and very clean / clear and organized. It can get pricey so keep and eye out for what you get. Overall great experience and would recommend to anyone.

First time and it was amazing! I had lunch there today with one of my girlfriends for my birthday and we can’t wait to come back. Our server Lily, fantastic! She was great from start to finish and so positive, happy, which added to the experience as a whole. All of the other staff we interacted with were wonderful as well! Food, zero complaints. Went to Kpot the is an all you can eat Korean BBQ and Hotpot . The flavors are amazing but the attention by our server Daren was horrible . We told him it was our 1st time here , he didn’t bother to explain us how the all you could eat worked , didn’t mention about the bar for sides and desserts , didn’t refill our drinks and when we asked him for spoons for our soup he made a gesture of being bothered and he didnt explained how to operate the table top burners to cook our food . He spend a lot of time at the table next to us but didn’t check on us. We received better service from the bassboys who don’t get a share from tips . The bass boys were asking us if we needed anything and got us what we needed , they even pointed that there was a bar with sides, fruits and desserts . We tipped 20% each of the bass boys who offered us with and excellent service , we were seriously thinking of not tipping Daren based on his service. He was prompt to point out the tip section when we paid the bill on his hand held device , left him a 10% tip but honestly he didn’t deserved it. So sad that a place that has great food has servers that offer such a bad experience for customers.

First time visiting this Kpot location and cannot say I will return.
First, we order our meats and veggies. The busser brought our food to the table and put a plate of raw meat ON TOP of my eating plate… Ok, fine… I didn’t need the plate I guess.
Then, while eating, our waitress (cannot recall her name but she had really long braids) barely checked on us. The grill burned before she came over and we were out of water for more than 10 minutes. We looked around to see her by the front door chatting with other workers. It was so hard to wave down the waitress, we kept looking around for assistance but no luck until another waitress came to our assistance, and changed the grill for us, twice.
Overall, we did not have a great first impression here but maybe it is an off day. Check it out and judge yourself.

Taesu
Our first time at any Kpot location. Lily really was the star of the show. The host let her know it was our first time to any kpot chain location even though it’s not our first time having kbbq. she was great about explaining their system and what she suggested as tips for what we might enjoy. She let us even know they have Kirin and Sapporo on tap! The beef belly (closest to what Koreans called chadol) is probably the best cut of meat on the lunch menu. And the other staff was friendly and courteous. Clean environment and reasonably good ventilation.
