this is mine and my best friends second year coming here for our christmas celebration, and we usually come in for hotpot. it’s always such a highlight for my holiday celebrations because this place is great. the food is amazing, the vibes are immaculate, and the music is great (they played not like us by kendrick lamar 10/10). i highly recommend the thai tom yum broth, the brown sugar milk tea, and the blackberry lemonade.
also our waitress halle was ABSOLUTELY amazing. very kind, very attentive, and very helpful when i had questions about the drink options. i’ll definitely be back, and maybe before christmas this time lol.

Our dinner tonight was definitely an unique experience. It made for great conversations while cooking our dinner at the table. Our server Nicole was very polite and explained everything since it was our first time even repeating her self since the dinning room is rather loud. I wish I could say the girl delivering the raw product to the table was equally as nice but she wasn’t. She basically tossed our things down on a drive by with her cart and wouldn’t answer questions. The appetizer bar was all cold so make sure you reheat for food safety reasons. I am at a loss for the total of our bill though, a party of four adults was $170 not including the tip. We had the hot pot and BBQ.All we had to drink was pop. According to the menu for Sunday the cost was $30.99 all you could eat and we could add the second option ( hot pot or BBQ) for $5 more. Maybe we miss understood so make sure you understand before you order so you won’t be short, luckily that wasn’t our case but may be for some people. We won’t be returning when for that price we can dine at a high end restaurant with full service.

The amount of food you can’t get her is great for the price. But the concept of cooking your own food is neat but the food suffers alot because of that the meats that are severed without a sauce are very bland and tasteless for example the plain pork belly versus the garlic pork belly. The plain the pork belly does not taste of much or really anything but the garlic one does taste of pork and a very heavy garlic flavor. The sauces on meat are potent but do add flavor. Again it’s just a side effect of cook your own food they give you unseasoned meat. Also the food you get also depends on how skilled at cooking you are. Those that have a strong cooking background or hobby will make amazing things here. Others will have dry overcooked meat or burnt. The cocktails here are not worth it. They’re weak an lean sweet. The soju is nice but it’s not made in house. The bubble tea was very pleasant though. It was was very sweat and creamy. There is a toppings and sides buffet here. The best thing on it is the fried rice. The rest is fine. For north canton it’s an interesting concept not sure if I’m sold on it though with other surrounding restaurants in the area. It’s worth a try though. It is located in the belden village mall next to Dave and busters you can only access from the outside. There is no interior mall entrance. So there is plenty of parking. The atmosphere inside is Las Vegas casino. It’s peaceful until they start screaming the happy Birthday song which they did 4 times while our group was there. Like the birthday song is very loud.

I had never been to KPOT before today, and I have to say that it was amazing. Halle was a great server, and she was very patient, as my family and I had never been here before. I got the Spicy Seafood Soup and I also really enjoyed the Beef Bulgogi. Highly recommend.

Wasn’t really sure what to expect, as this was our first time at this type of restaurant. Desirae was so very helpful and explained the process and food to us. I’m going to be honest, I’m still not sure how I feel about cooking my own food, as that is the reason I go out.. to have someone take the work out of it. However, there were tons of options and it’s a great way to try so many different things! We loved the condiment buffet and the fried rice. All the meats, veggies and appetizers were very fresh, and it was all in all a good experience!

What a fun place to arrive in Canton, Ohio!!! My partner and I are visiting family from out of state, and this was a very enjoyable and yummy date night.
First, it’s located on the outside of the mall, which is kind of weird aesthetically, but not a complete turn off. I’d say the outside definitely leaves more to be desired, but the inside is something worth venturing in for. Inside the place is a little funky, but I’m here for it. Reminds me of Vegas casino meets Korean karaoke bar.
Second, the service was superb!!! Having been to other Asian BBQ/hot pot/AYCE places but not this one, it was nice to get a friendly run down or how things work. Our server explained everything, and I love how attentive she was … even though a lot of the ordering is done on an iPad.
Lastly, regarding the food … although my partner would have liked to see better quality with the meats, I personally felt like it was appropriate for the price. $30.99 for AYCE ($5 more for both BBQ + hot pot option) is really good!!!
Definitely recommend this place and will definitely be back when back in town. 🙂

AITA For never wanting to have KBBQ again if Parker isn’t my server?
I (29F) am a self-proclaimed meat seeker. Ever since I was child I have had a healthy appetite for meat and a round back that is good for longevity. As a result I’ve always craved somewhere that allows me to eat as much meat as I want for a set amount of time and cook it to my own preferences.
That being said I’m not stranger to KBBQ. I’m almost certain that due to my heavy desire for this God decided to bless the world not only with KBBQ but with an angelic server named Parker. (Yes, I am solely responsible for Parker’s birth.)
I’m no stranger to KPOT, I’ve been to many locations across the country. None of them could ever compare to the service I received tonight.
My husband (32M) and I went to the KPOT in Akron expecting a regular run of the mill experience. But through God’s blessing that is not what we received. After being seated for less than a minute, the clouds parted and Parker(server) descended from heavens and took our drink orders. He delivered excellent service and at one point in the night, he even healed my mouth using a grill, a bowl of soup base, and any topping that I could think of. What a devine blessing! I have trouble describing how great Parker truly was so instead I prepared this haiku:

PARKER IS BETTER… oh yes
PARKER IS BETTER

The restaurant was gorgeous. First time here with my husband and 7 year old. Felt so comfortable here but the thing that matters the most beyond food is service. Our waitress Kristen was extra helpful with a smile always. It truly matters how your server treats you and it was above and beyond. She didnt crowd us but every time I looked up to ask a question she was right there for us waiting to help! Very satisfied with our dine experience. So much fun! So full!

Went for the first time and everything was amazing. Food served quickly. Our waiter Brandon was super helpful. He explained the menu and ordering process, gave us suggestions as to what he liked and even brought us two of his favorite sauces which made the food that much better!

I had a great time! I was by myself it’s great for a group but I had a blast by myself. A lot of food for a cheap price! A single meal of this would be around this price! HALLE was kind enough to show me around and explain the menu to me since it was my first time. She made the experience all the better.
