My partner and I have been to lots of K-Pot locations, and Hamden is by far our favorite! We have been visiting regularly for close to a year now, and every visit has been great. We love the huge screen playing music videos, the cleanliness, and the service!
Today we had Debbe as our waitress and she was fantastic! Our drinks were always refilled quickly and everything we ordered was delivered fast. Can’t recommend this place enough!

We visited BBQ Café and were very pleased! We really liked the concept of the place — two hours to grill and enjoy everything you order is such a great idea. The service was attentive, and the interior was cozy and welcoming. And of course, as good hosts, we grilled ourselves some delicious food and truly enjoyed the whole experience. A wonderful place, and we’ll definitely come back again!

My wife and I went to Kpot in Hamden for a night out without the kids, and we had a great experience! The food was very good — we did both the hot pot and the Korean BBQ, and everything we tried was delicious. We were total rookies and didn’t totally know what we were doing, but our waitress, May, was absolutely fantastic. She patiently walked us through the process, helped explain things, and was super attentive the whole time. She even switched out our grill plate multiple times without us having to ask.
The sauce station had a great variety, and the overall vibe of the place was really fun. The music was definitely on the louder side, but it was catchy and added to the upbeat atmosphere.
Overall, we had a great time, and May really made the experience even better. We’ll definitely be back — maybe a little more prepared next time!

I came here a few months ago with some friends. It was our first time at KPOT, but I’ve had Korean BBQ before. This place was sososo good. It had a little buffet and the food actually tasted really good. The fries were cooked perfectly, it reminded me of the fries at Bonchon. The kimchi was great and the chicken wings too. I don’t remember what we cooked on the grill but I remember everything being really good. This place has spray oil instead of butter which I really like. I think that made it easier to cook the meats. I don’t think we had to change our grill often either. The service was good, the staff was pretty nice. But it was quite busy so we had to wait like 15 minutes for drink refills. But overall, this place is really good and I would definitely come here again.

Had a great experience at K-Pot! The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. What made the visit even better was the amazing customer service. Nicole was so attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Sef kept the energy up, literally running with the food to make sure we didn’t have to wait long—definitely appreciated that hustle!
Only thing I’d suggest next time is sticking with just the hotpot—doing both BBQ and hotpot was a little overwhelming, but the hotpot alone would’ve been perfect and satisfying. Overall, great food, great service, great vibes. Will definitely be back!

I really enjoyed my experience here! The food was soooo good (I got the hot pot and KBBQ combined). Huge shout out to Minh for being amazing. The service was incredible! 10/10 vibes.

This spot always fills my kbbq cravings. I’ve been here multiple times and I will say the best KBBQ meat cuts that you can get here include the sliced beef belly, Kpot short ribs, & K-pop pork belly.
I do like the fact that the sides are buffet style so you don’t have to wait for a refill on things such as kimchi. I really do love the radish kimchi here. Very fresh and has a nice bite.
For the soups I recommend the Korean seafood base. It is spicy, but will completely clear your sinuses. Always love adding watercress to it.
I’m giving five stars mostly for the server.

Minh went above and beyond. They were so attentive, kept waters refilled and even helped us decide what kinds of meat would be best for our table! I’m so happy with my experience and will only eat with Minh when I return!
