Have been going here for years, experienced some visits better than others but overall it’s a spot to great decent sushi for a reasonable price in town.

Lately, the customer service has been top notch as well as the speed of service! Picture below is one of their new platters called Gaku, feeds 3-5 people and about $80. I always order online in advance and grab takeout

Bought some hand rolls and super excited to eat them. Got cold raw spam with no sauce and not heated up. Called to try get money back, but only offered to make again. Drove to the store to see if that’s normal there. The manager said yes. I’ve been eating spam rolls for decades and never have eaten cold spam with no sauce before. Probs never going back again. I forgot why I stopped going there. But now I remember.

I’ve been coming here since I was in elementary school and now as an adult I appreciate it so much more. The seared nigiri is my ultimate fave. It’s so good. Great quality fish and it like melts in your mouth. It’s not cheap anymore but its ingredients definitely reflect it. I’d rather pay more for better quality honestly. I hope you guys never close ❤️

The lady at the front was seriously so sweet!! It really was a great experience at Kozo Sushi, it came super fast, and was so yummy. We got spam musubi and a couple hand rolls, and they were all so delicious and fresh. They have a huge selection of flavors of maki, hand rolls, musubi, nigiri, poke bowls, and more. It has a huge parking lot too so you don’t need to worry about parking. The inside is pretty small, and there’s just a couple seats outside and a bench inside. It really is a good spot for takeout.

This is probably my favorite sushi spot on the island. It’s quick and flavorful, what more could you ask for. It’s like fast food but for sushi, and I definitely will keep coming back.

I ordered couple platters for the beach, they were ready just after opening around 11 when I called. It was quick and perfect !!! The service in the shop was great don’t think I spent more then 3 min in there. One of my platters got shifted around during the journey, but it all disappeared when the kids got out of the water.

For cheap, takeout sushi the quality is surprisingly good. They put care into assembling the sushi, rolls, and bowls. The storefront is clean and the staff are extremely friendly. I love that they have online ordering and they usually complete my order ahead of the time estimated for pick-up by the website.

A friend and I discovered this sushi place by accident when lost in Waikiki searching for a different establishment.

Price of sushi platters are lower compared to other sushi places I patronize in the Mid-Atlantic of the East Coast. Roughly $50 including tax for 48 pieces on the one I bought.

Each variety tasted wonderful, with the only minor issue the roe being a tad warmer than I prefer. A slight annoyance was the very small side of wasabi.

Overall, still worthy of 5 stars!

All you can expect from a takeout sushi. Good portion for the price you pay. If you’re in the area and on the budget, this is a good place to go while still have funds left for drinks later.
