Simply outstanding — a true slice of Japan in Geneva.
Kozan is, without a doubt, my favorite Japanese restaurant in the city. Everything about the experience is exceptional — from the authenticity of the dishes to the warm hospitality. Dining here truly feels like being transported to Japan. Chef Machida’s mastery and attention to detail shine through in every bite. A hidden gem that deserves all the praise!

Hands down the best sushi I’ve ever had. Amazing quality, calm setting, limited space at the sushi bar with a great view of what the chef is doing. Certainly not cheap but well worth the price because of the high quality ingredients

I’m kinda used to this overpriced country, but good sushi places here are even more overpriced than other cuisines.
Chirashi menu: It has a medium level of seafood variety, relatively better than those salmon/tuna/shrimp only offerings, tho the quality and freshness is less satisfying given the cost of 45 chf.
Futomaki: same.
Service is good.

Great place to experience the wonderful Japanese cuisine. I was shockingly surprised to be able eat Toro sashimi in Switzerland at this high quality, absolutely stunning. We tried their special nigiri plate as well with great combinations like Wagyu, Urchin and Caviar, and like Sea Bass with Bottarga. But even a simple poached egg is prepared with absolute care. Staff was very friendly and their timing was impeccable. Unfortunately, the prices are very expensive so I can’t visit often but I urge you to try at least once.

Food is always very high quality at Kozan, and very nicely presented. The ambiance is pleasant and staff is attentive and focused on details (for how tables are set to how the dishes are layed out in fron of you)

Exceptional sushi place. The sushi chef is extremely expert and the fish is top quality. I’ve been for lunch and dinner many times. Highly recommend but given popularity better to make a reservation in advance!
