Kousine was one of the highlights of our trip to Fort Lauderdale. The food was absolutely outstanding — incredibly fresh seafood, beautiful presentation, and bold Peruvian flavors that felt both authentic and elevated.
The ceviche was phenomenal — bright, perfectly balanced, and some of the freshest fish we’ve had anywhere. Every dish we ordered was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. You can tell the kitchen really cares about quality ingredients and technique.
Service was just as impressive. Mauricio was friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the menu, offering great recommendations and making the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable.
The location is also fantastic, just steps from the beach, which makes it perfect for dinner followed by a walk along the ocean.
If you’re anywhere near Fort Lauderdale Beach and love great seafood, Kousine is an absolute must. We will definitely be coming back next time we’re in town.

Delicious!! This restaurant was absolutely amazing! The staff here are super friendly and very welcoming and attentive! The food was very good. Located near the beach, it offers really good outdoor seating with a beach view! They do have indoor seats if folks prefer to sit indoors. The food and drinks were great to top it all off.

I was very disappointed with the quality of the ceviche they served me here. They served me a bland tasting ceviche. When I asked for “Aji Limo” to try to add flavor to it, they told me they don’t use it in their ceviche. Aji Limo is an ABSOLUTE MUST to accomplish a good tasting ceviche. To top it off, I ordered two beers for $ 9 each about 600% the regular price, they automatically added 18% tip regardless of the service, which was OK.
So, if you really the Peruvian taste, make sure you don’t order their ceviche here. I didn’t try the other dishes as I was very disatisfied with my first order.

This was a great place to eat. Both the red and the white sangria were delicious. The ceviche was very good also. And the chef special paella was filling. The view was perfect – right across from the beach. Definitely recommend if you are in the area!

So light, fresh and bursting with flavor. Absolutely delicious food. We had the Kousine ceviche, paella and tuna tataki. All fabulous. Highly recommend for a casual beachfront lunch.

Food was so good we came back for dinner twice in a row! Lomo Saltato was amazing! My husband and I both got it the first night. We had empanadas (beef) tonight and it was to die for. Plancha Marina was great tonight. We will definitely come back here when we visit!
