We arrived exactly as they opened so there was no wait but maybe 20 minutes later they were packed! The food is fresh, unique and worth the wait. Pancakes are hugeeeeee. Definitely a must do while on Kauai just try to get there early or be prepared to wait.

Found directly on a main road, Kountry Kitchen served delicious breakfast favorites. We had a reasonable, short waiting time before we were promptly seated and served. I ordered an amazing macnut latte and it was one of the best lattes I had during my trip to Kauai! For my meal, I ordered the avocado breakfast sandwich and asked for bacon to be added, plus a side of hash browns (hash browns not pictured). The sandwich was huge! I could only eat half and enjoyed the other half for dinner later. My husband gave me the fresh mango that accompanied his meal and it was the freshest, juiciest mango I’ve ever had! Prices were more than reasonable for the portion size and taste of our meals. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. If we go to Kauai again, I would 100% return to Kountry Kitchen!

I have to abide by a gluten free diet and this diner had many yummy gluten free options. I had the Luau Omelette and my partner got the Kalua Pork & Eggs. Both were delicious! They have a waiting area inside that is air conditioned which was great to escape the heat. They don’t have gluten free bread but I didn’t mind.

Closed every Tuesday & Wednesday because this place is that good that they need 2 days off to recover, this place is well worth the wait.

My first meal on Kauai in a restaurant, and it far exceeded any expectations I may have had. I hope I spell her name right, but right off the bat, Carrie greeted us with warmth and a terrific attitude. Then the food came. I have the kalua pork eggs Benedict on Hawaiian sweet bread. Hands down, the BEST eggs Benedict I’ve ever had. Everything was terrific. It could not have been better in any way. If you get the chance, go early. There’s usually a good wait if you don’t get there early enough. But if you do have to wait, it’s so worth it.

This was the 1st place on the island we tried for breakfast and we will definitely be going back! The staff was all very friendly and helpful! So many food options from traditional American (eggs, bacon, pancakes, etc) to traditional Hawaiian (spam, rice, etc). Ingredients were quality and fresh (they even have fresh local fruit & juice). Loved the atmosphere with the funny chicken art too.

We love Kountry Kitchen. The breakfast is so amazing and we always eat here when we travel to Kauai. The atmosphere is so fun, and there are so many photos of chickens and roosters on the wall. Cute! The food is so good. We try to order something different every time to try new things and flavors. Today we had the Porker, Veggie Omelet with hasbrowns and wheat toast AND Macadamia Nut Banana Pancake. Yes, ONE huge pancake! Everything was so good! I highly recommend Kountry Kitchen. O and you can reserve your seat prior to arriving. Love it!

This place is a local institution, famous for their giant macadamia nut pancakes. See the picture – I have large hands (9” spread). All the portions are generous and will get you fueled up for a day on the island.
