From the greeting to the eating, this place is as country as it gets. The homemade gravy is loaded with fresh sausage crumbles just like the country stores used to do when I was a kid. The eggs were cooked to perfection and the home fries tasted like someone’s mamaw came out of the holler to fry the potatoes herself. We will definitely be back next visit.

Love this busy little family diner! The food and service are super consistent. I have never had a bad meal here! Eggs perfectly cooked, sausage gravy perfection, crispy hashbrowns. The Mountain Man is my favorite breakfast in town!

Visited Kountry Kitchen for the first time on our trip to Franklin. NC.

I ordered the K.K. Breakfast and it was delicious! I personally enjoyed that the food was not overly seasoned. The hash browns were fresh and crunchy; the eggs were fluffy and flavorful, and the biscuits and gravy tasted homemade. *Definitely* a little spot to check out when in town. Most notably, the servers were so friendly and our wait time was short. (We arrived around 1:00PM and were seated within 5 minutes of arrival.)

Definitely recommend !!!

We come here almost every year for our anniversary. We love Franklin. A google search for breakfast nearby led us to the Kountry Kitchen. We could tell right away that it’s a local hotspot! We loved it and will keep coming back! Service is great, food is fantastic and the prices are really good, as well! All around a great place to eat! Many thanks, Kountry Kitchen and Franklin, NC 🙂

We stopped here for a quick bite after a hike – and we arrived around 1. We were happy that they still served breakfast! I ordered the 3 veggie plate. I have definitely had better collards, but the black eyed peas and the coke slaw were top notch and fresh! As a bonus, one of our group ordered the baloney sandwich (fried). We couldn’t resist getting pictures of that!!! Took is back to our childhood. Great spot!!! They close at 2 pm so get there earlier.

This review is biased, but I assure you the 5 stars are deserved. My friends and I loved to get a before-school breakfast, and it was fast service to eat and get back to school. I love the chocolate chip pancakes and sweet tea to start my morning!

We waited to be seated and the waitress allowed three other groups (the same size as ours (2) to skip in front of us. The last one said they arrived after us and she still seated them before us. The place was not that busy, she just did not care for us. I’m guessing she figured we were not locals. After 25 minutes of people going ahead of us we left.

I have gone to the Kountry Kitchen several times during my stay in Franklin and the food has always been great.

One of the best things about this place is that they serve breakfast all day. That is something that seems to be a rarity in the south outside of chain restaurants.

The staff was very friendly. The food was quickly prepared and tasted very good. The prices were reasonable, portions were good and the place was clean and nice. All of that at adds up to a great place to eat breakfast in my opinion. I should mention that they were playing fabulous music when I was there but that’s just a matter of personal preference. 🙂

I’ve had omelettes, pancakes, biscuits & gravy and they were all very tasty.

Two definite thumbs up.
