The atmosphere is decently quiet. Most of the talking was between the employees but it was a nice aura.
Overall great, but could be even better.
While dining in, a roach came out from the corner of the seating area and crawled directly onto our table. That alone raised serious concerns about sanitation.
The restaurant was also very hot inside and had a noticeable body odor smell that seemed to be masked with incense, which only made it worse instead of addressing the issue.
When ordering drinks, I was told one option was out of stock. I then asked for two fountain drinks, but none of the fountain drinks were working. This was never mentioned beforehand. When I pointed it out to the woman at the register, there was no apology and no attempt to offer an alternative drink—just a laugh.
I also observed that the TV mounted above the table had visible dust on the top right half but not on the bottom half directly above the table surface. It gave the impression that someone may have stood on the table to clean it. Whether that’s the case or not, it did not leave a good impression regarding hygiene standards.
Overall, the experience was disappointing enough that I won’t be coming back.
After placing our order, we were allowed to choose a table, but when we sat down, it was clear the cleanliness was lacking: The table was dirty with a random empty plastic bottle and had a sticky residue. The cups provided were also sticky, and the napkin dispenser was covered in dust.
As we poured water from the glass container into our cups, I had to get up and ask for ice. The water itself had an odd aftertaste, which was unpleasant. While waiting for our food, one of the cooks
brought it to our table–unfortunately, he had a very strong body odor, which was quite off-putting, especially since he was serving our food.
To make matters worse, there was no air
conditioning, so as we tried to enjoy our hot ramen, we were sweating in the stifling heat. On a positive note, the ramen was just as delicious as I remembered. I may consider returning for takeout, but this location is no longer suitable for a sit-down dining experience.
You do have to order & pay before eat
I paid 11.34 for chicken karrage and got 5 small nuggets. At the San Dimas location, you actually get a full portion.
The ramen and chicken was good, but I’m unhappy with the small portion.
