The broth and the pork are amazing. The spice is a perfect match with a rich broth. The only downside is the quality of the noodles. If they had better noodles, it would be an easy 5 star.

The atmosphere is decently quiet. Most of the talking was between the employees but it was a nice aura.

Overall great, but could be even better.

I cannot say this enough… if you are looking for a ramen spot…LOOK NO FURTHER…I was completely floored by the amount of flavor in my order tonight. My wife and I came in to find out that they were under new ownership. And they are AMAZING. I ordered the kotsu curry up ramen deluxe and my the Hai five gyoza. My wife ordered the kickin Og with chicken karage.the chicken was soft and delicious. But HOLY CRAP the kotsu curry up was amazing. I knew this even before digging in fully. Theres was so much flavor and just the right amount of spice. I wish I would have taken pictures before I tore up the pretty presentation. I feel like I know how Gordon Ramsey feels when he eats something absolutely delicious. I wanna give this place 100/10. This place is moving to my number one ramen spot hands down!.

The audacity to charge $17/18 for a bowl of ramen is small and skimpy. Then on top of that you make customers feel stupid on the way out. How do I order in person to go, stand in the doorway for 25 mins then the cashier tells me my order is ready and then ask me my name…. Like I’m going to steal food that I paid for? I’ve been standing there the whole time. Even if it’s policy to be safe you could still see I’m that same dam person. $32 on the smallest amount of food I’ve gotten from any ramen place. Everyone do yourself a favor and head to Menkoi Ya in Claremont. Better food and prices and they can trust customers.

I used to really enjoy this place because the chashu ramen was good, but after my recent visit I won’t be returning.

While dining in, a roach came out from the corner of the seating area and crawled directly onto our table. That alone raised serious concerns about sanitation.

The restaurant was also very hot inside and had a noticeable body odor smell that seemed to be masked with incense, which only made it worse instead of addressing the issue.

When ordering drinks, I was told one option was out of stock. I then asked for two fountain drinks, but none of the fountain drinks were working. This was never mentioned beforehand. When I pointed it out to the woman at the register, there was no apology and no attempt to offer an alternative drink—just a laugh.

I also observed that the TV mounted above the table had visible dust on the top right half but not on the bottom half directly above the table surface. It gave the impression that someone may have stood on the table to clean it. Whether that’s the case or not, it did not leave a good impression regarding hygiene standards.

Overall, the experience was disappointing enough that I won’t be coming back.

This place is fairly close to the airport which was great! We got to enjoy a wonderful dish of ramen before flying out. The employees were kind and very helpful. We were greeted with a smile and was gave a concise summary of the menu. We both order the spicy chicken ramen and a sample of all the gyozas. We would recommend ordering both dishes!

The soup has a good flavor. I think it would be even better if the type of noodle matched the soup more. Inside, it was a little smoky, so my eyes were irritated, just like Ichi’s.

I arrived at the restaurant feeling excited, though aware that it was under new management. Upon entering, I immediately noticed a shift in the atmosphere, and the menu had undergone slight changes. The person taking our order had an indifferent attitude, which set the tone for the rest of the experience.

After placing our order, we were allowed to choose a table, but when we sat down, it was clear the cleanliness was lacking: The table was dirty with a random empty plastic bottle and had a sticky residue. The cups provided were also sticky, and the napkin dispenser was covered in dust.

As we poured water from the glass container into our cups, I had to get up and ask for ice. The water itself had an odd aftertaste, which was unpleasant. While waiting for our food, one of the cooks
brought it to our table–unfortunately, he had a very strong body odor, which was quite off-putting, especially since he was serving our food.

To make matters worse, there was no air
conditioning, so as we tried to enjoy our hot ramen, we were sweating in the stifling heat. On a positive note, the ramen was just as delicious as I remembered. I may consider returning for takeout, but this location is no longer suitable for a sit-down dining experience.

First timer and it is a wonderful experience to have had. The food is well cooked, proportions are more than exceptional and presentation of the dish itself is more than just a work of art in every bite‼️ In addition, the service is top tier‼️‼️‼️ Had a few questions in regards to the menu an certain ingredients and the young lady was more than willing not only able to explain but provided a visual which I was more than happy with whereas most places are reluctant even to do so… will definitely be back possibly with a date

Before the new ownership, the food quality was more consistent and the portions were better.

I paid 11.34 for chicken karrage and got 5 small nuggets. At the San Dimas location, you actually get a full portion.

The ramen and chicken was good, but I’m unhappy with the small portion.
