The Kosher Nosh – Glen Rock, NJ – 4 Stars (10/17/2025)
We started our meal with a trip to the pickle bar — always a fun and flavorful way to kick things off. The sweet potato fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned. The Hot Romanian Pastrami Sandwich was the standout — rich, smoky, and piled high just like a classic deli should serve it. The Tuna Wrap was fresh and satisfying, and the Turkey Cold Cuts Platter had generous portions and great deli flavor. We finished with some Rugelach for a sweet touch and took a Beef Tongue Sandwich to go — tender and old-school delicious.
Friendly service, authentic flavors, and that classic deli atmosphere make The Kosher Nosh a great stop for anyone craving traditional comfort food.

The hot corned beef was great. The free pickle bar included the perfect coleslaw and health salad with my meal. Will come back for breakfast soon!

Delicious dishes, especially lightly salted cucumbers and cabbage salads. You can pick up as much as you want and be able to eat. Friendly staff. There is also a store here and you can buy ready-made food for home. I recommend this place

Apparently they are under new ownership as of 2 years ago. We had a $50 gift certificate we drove from CT to use. It was my in laws certificate. It says expires when finished eating. We figured it was good indefinitely. Apparently it wasn’t. The new owners wouldn’t accept after we had ordered some meat. I felt bad not buying the sliced meat after we ordered it. We bought that and a couple of potato pancakes I had ordered. I would have expected the new owners to at least honor part of it but they said it’s at least 2 years old. Oh well. We won’t be going there again even if we are in Fair Lawn, NJ for any family events.

This is one of my favorite deli’s on the planet. MY aunt and uncle live nearby and I will regularly fo well out of my way to eat here and always take something back with me. In addition to everything being the perfect version of what it is – Kosher Nosh’s meats are so superior, I actually fell in love with their tongue sandwich, which I never really enjoyed before (it is divine – like no other.) The new owner, and manager Chris and his whole staff are in a word, familial. Not cheap, but you 100% get the highest level of deli, variety and service anywhere! PS- eat in and don’t miss the pickle and cole slaw bar – full and 1/2 sours, pickled tomatoes, ‘slaw, potato salad and more! Mmmmm…

My favorite NJ deli. Great food, great service, and you geek the love just walking in the door. Been coming here for about 25 years now. I always order the pastrami with chopped liver sandwich.
