I was in the area today and stopped by for some lunch with my wife and baby. Not only was the food fantastic like always (the best bagels in town) but the owner stopped by my table to give our baby a treat. Earlier today she enjoyed her first bagel ever today, a rainbow bagel. This fine establishment has touched my belly many times in the past but today they touched my heart as well. Thank you!!!!

They are not serious about running an efficient, customer-driven business. With only 6 people ahead of us, it took 40 minutes to buy a dozen bagels. Understaffed, frustrated employees, and frustrated customers, lead to a frustrating experience. The place would be more full if they didn’t have this reputation…if they were trying. They need more staff, a separate bagel-only line, an order expediter talking to the folks in line, and maybe some ambience music. The ordering line feels like a stress ball of quiet, sad waiting. When people get to the register they are clueless and it takes 5-8 minutes of fighting with the register person. This is also a result of bad menu display and not encouraging efficiency. Frankly, it’s sad.
