My flight was delayed causing me to me miss my connecting flight in Chicago. I stayed in Elk Grove village and walked down to the pub on the corner. (Korner house). The people were welcome, even the locals were nice and the food was delicious. It turned my experience from a travel hiccup to an added adventure. The next day before heading to the airport I walked back up for lunch and to shop at a couple local stores for some gifts. I loved it and hope to go back again someday. ☺️

What a find. Picked up our son and his girlfriend at O’Hare and needed a place to watch the Bears game. This was the perfect spot. Had a wide selection of beer, full liquor, excellent tv’s and the service was outstanding. Thank you for being a great traditional korner bar!!

the experience was disappointing from start to finish. The service was painfully slow even though the bar wasn’t busy, and the staff seemed more interested in talking to each other than helping customers. My drink tasted watered down and overpriced for the quality. The music was so loud it was hard to hold a conversation, and the place didn’t feel clean—sticky tables and a musty smell near the bar. Definitely not worth the visit. I won’t be coming back.

The absolute best food that I’ve ever had in a pub style environment. The skewers were amazing as well as the well-appointed salad and homemade ranch the service was top-notched miss Bee took care of all the customers with great efficiency. As a truck driver I’m in and out of Chicago a great deal, will be a home stop for m outside of my home if Mobile Al. Miss Bee inform me that she has a great restaurant in New Orleans in the Central district just give her a call up here at the bar and she will let you know all about it. What made the experience even worse was the owner, who was just as unfriendly. Instead of addressing the issues, the owner brushed off customer complaints and talked down to people like he didn’t care whether anyone stayed or left. The whole place felt chaotic and unwelcoming.
Between the terrible service, unpleasant staff, and an owner who clearly doesn’t value customers, this is easily one of the worst bar experiences I’ve had. Definitely would not recommend.

If you are at O’Hare to pick up or drop off someone you care about, do yourself a favor and stop at the Korner House. If friendly bars with attentive staff, fair prices, and good food are not your jam, then leave a seat open for someone who will appreciate it. I am from a neighboring state and only go to O’Hare when I absolutely have to, but The Korner House redeems the trip! I feel like I am at my neighborhood bar even though it is +/-200 miles from my neighborhood. I have stopped in several times and felt welcome every time.
