Yummy home made onion soup, $5 burger with fries (!!!), friendly, efficient service, and fun retro and historical decor. I’d say pretty good for such a small town. Definitely worth a stop.

Great lunch yesterday. We were just driving through and honestly didn’t expect much. I had the BLT wrap and hubby had a cheeseburger. Both were great and service was very friendly.

Every time I pass through fossil I get awesome service here. Usually I’m there for a very solid breakfast. Last time though I stopped in at lunch time and had one of the best cheeseburgers ever. A very nice surprise.

Delicious food. Great service. Locals do not wear masks. Very nice waiter wore a mask. Cook did not. You all do realize that we wear masks to protect others. IT IS NOT ABOUT YOU.

My family had the worse experience here. When we walked in, we could smell the oil from the deep fryer (it smelt old and definitely needed to be changed). The waitress was confusing. I tried to order Chicken Fajitas. She kept asking me how many I wanted???? I asked her to explain what came with it for $10 and she just asked me how many. It was way too expensive. We paid $42 for a half sandwich, lite plate (hamburger patty and lettuce salad), chicken strip basket, and a hamburger basket. And they charged me $1.00 for a very small cup of ranch. SERIOUSLY $1.00 FOR RANCH. The waitress didn’t let us know it was extra. I did look at the menu when I was paying and saw it said $0.50 for extra condiments. But I thought it was normal to offer ranch with chicken strips, fries, or tater tots. Overall it was a horrible experience. We drive through Fossil often and WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN.

Open early. Excellent food. If you are bringing a big group, call ahead so they can get more staff. Be small-town friendly.

Well known place people talk about when it comes to good diner food in Fossil.

Locals and visitors enjoy the small town look and feel of this family owned business serving breakfast, lunch and occasionally dinner.

Business days and hours can vary and are subject to change during summer and winter. Call ahead for large groups.

Wheeler County Rodeo Wall of Fame & Shame and impressive Kinzua, Oregon wall mural, reflect it’s long standing ties to community while displaying some of the area’s local, colorful history.

Bikers from annual Fossil Campout and Shelton Wayside Memorial event are just some of the regular, traveling visitors to the cafe along with touring bicyclists.

For a small town establishment in rural Oregon, Korner Cafe does it’s best to offer quality food and customer service for an overall positive dining experience.
