Casual, cheerful eatery offering traditional Korean fare such as bulgogi, hot pot & fried chicken.

Food was delicious. The portions were huge and very filling. The dumplings were stuffed and rolled perfectly and did not fall apart with one bite. The kimchi dumplings were some of the best I’ve had. You have the option for barbecue tables or regular. At your table there is a call button for your server. I would come back and recommend.

Stopped by here for food by chance. It had 4.5 stars on Google and was close. Love me some Korean BBQ after living in The Republic of Korea previously. First off….yikes…food has become expensive! This is probably just normal, but i had a bit of sticker price shock. Very likely just a normal thing these days. Atmosphere was great! The staff was SUPER NICE and helpful!
We ordered the Beef Combo. We got the ribeye, brisket, and Kalbi. I did not expect a small, thin ribeye steak to show up…but it did. The Kalbi came pre-cooked and we cooked our brisket and ribeye. It was good, but definitely not like i remembered from my time in the ROK. It came with the normal sides. In Korea, the sides were included. They are included in the combo here…..but like I said…yikes! If you get just the meat, sides are around $8 each………
In the end, it was filling and a good walk down memory lane. Wish I was able to get a CASS and Soju…but had to drive so I went with a soda.
I think this place would be some good times with friends…as long as you have some extra cash. For me, I think I’ll look for other places to compare before returning. This place is worth a try at least if you want some Korean BBQ. Grilled Kimchi is a must! And yes, the food was tasty!

This place is awesome. Spacious, clean, and friendly. They have a couple different menus including one for Bbq and another for popular Korean dishes. The ban chan is solid and I’ve been impressed with the quality of the meats as well. The service has always been great – attentive but not pushy. All servers to date all speak Korean as well. I have no complaints – this is a rarity

my friend and i came in around 8 pm on saturday, january 24th after going to a show nearby. we were visiting from las vegas and we love korean food so we thought this would be a great place to eat. and we were right!! probably the best we’ve had!! i had the kimchi jjigae and i believe my friend had the seolleongtang. the food came out hot, the meat was tender, our sides of rice were perfectly steamed, and the entire meal was delicious and filling. the restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was also very cozy, we could tell it’s likely family-owned 🙂
we also want to give a big shout-out to our server. the name on the receipt was peter (but we should have asked for his name, as i know this can get mixed up). he was so friendly and welcoming, giving us great recommendations and we had a really nice conversation with him. we mentioned that we want to visit korea and he gave us some tips for exploring seoul, which was very thoughtful! 🙂
overall a great experience and we’ll definitely come to eat here when we’re back in the area!! highly recommend!!

After watching so many K drama I wanted to have a nice Korean food and found this Koreatown Restaurant. The atmosphere was inviting with a lively yet comfortable vibe. The service was friendly and attentive. Since it was my first time here, the server was so helpful by explaining the menu items.
The standout was the bulgogi which was perfectly seasoned and tender. I’ll definitely be returning to explore more of their menu.

Koreantown never disappoints when I have a craving for Korean food. I appreciate that I get to choose my experience (left side: dining room, right side: self serve BBQ). I only had an hour for dinner, so I picked the left side. The server was very patient my questions and helped me with my final decisions.
I ordered a seafood pancake, tofu stew with beef, and bibimbap with pork. All are so flavorful. The beef was a bit tough for my mom, but I was okay with it. The side dishes were all too pretty to touch haha!
Tips: go with clothes you are willing to wash right away after you get home and on your hair wash day. Although I wasn’t seated at the BBQ side, I left smelling greasy and with bbq aroma.

This is one of the best Korean restaurants in Arizona. The service was so quick, portions are considerable, and the quality is amazing. We ordered a spam tofu soup, a fried calamari, and a mix three tofu soup with brisket, pork belly, and dumplings. I thought with the mix three it would be more expensive but it’s the same price as one protein. I also worried they would put less protein since it’s a mix three but they put a good amount of each. The banchan is fresh. Will definitely be coming back.

The food was great! We ordered from the appetizer menu- kimchee pancakes, corn, and tteokbokki. For the main course we ordered bibimpap in hot stone, spicy pork belly, and kalbi. It would have been nice if we were served the appetizers first. Instead, everything was served at the same time after waiting for over 20 minutes. Overall it was a great experience, friendly staff and clean restaurant.
