Cool Korean restaurant in Southside. Been here a few times, and it’s always a treat. Food is tasty, portions are large and staff is attentive and friendly. Fun, welcoming atmosphere, too. Really appreciate our server/attendants tonight. All of them were very kind and warm.
The kalbi is always good. Have had the bulgogi before too which was fantastic. The banchan (traditional, communal side dishes) are delicious. Also the seafood-spring onion pancake is as good as any one I’ve ever had.
Great place for friends or a date.

I have been here several times over the years and every time I eat here I am thoroughly impressed. Lately when I come in I have had a or stew so it has been quite some time since I have had their BBQ, but it was good from what I remember and always smells amazing. On my latest visit I had the Sundubu Jjiggae which is a perfect meal for a cool fall day. I also love the setup and ambience. It is a large building and it has that perfect nostalgia of an 80s/90s Japanese steakhouse albeit being a Korean BBQ joint. Staff is also very friendly as well. I highly recommend trying this place, it is one of the best Korean restaurants in the area.

Delicious KBBQ. Menu has al la carte options, all you can eat (not full selection of proteins available), and meals for parties of 2-4. The wait staff was friendly and wede happy to grill at your table or let you take over for yourself. Plenty of sides came with the meal and were replenished as needed. Would visit again.

Delicious, authentic Korean food for a very reasonable price. My buddy and I both got spicy beef bulgogi lunch trays and they were AMAZING. You get a very generous portion of banchan as well. Food was fresh and ready quickly. The waiters were very kind and pleasant folks too. We received free probiotic drinks after our meal that tasted very good. Will definitely be back to try the AYCE BBQ.

Ate here last night and it was absolutely delicious. Quality banchan. I really like going to Korean restaurants back in Atlanta and I was trying to find one with real authentic banchan and this seemed to be the only place in Richmond that had it. The Korean bbq was delicious and it’s really nice because they cook it for you in front of you which I way prefer vs having to cook it myself. They Kimchi was so dank I bought a takeaway container of it to go. And I liked the servers. 10/10 will go back.

We’ve been coming here for years now and the staff is so kind and attentive. The food is always delicious and a lot of the sides and sauces are made in house! It’s my favorite spot in the area and we bring our friends when they visit. Recently been getting the bento boxes for lunch, very good portion size. The all you can eat is worth it in my opinion, the spicy beef bulgogi is the best. I think it’s a good spot for allergies if you do the all you can eat, not sure how they do with gluten though.

I walked in on my lunch break alone, only to get refused service saying they only accept 2+ customers. Even after genuinely expressing I would gladly ~eat & pay~ for the amount of 2 people ($140+) they still proceeded to point me out. Weird.

Very disappointing 2nd visit here. The older gentleman is always nice, but the rest of the staff should be fired. We did all you can eat + premium and it felt like they deliberately moved as slow as possible to limit what we could eat. Out of 4 of us, my wife barely eats so the restaurant was already getting a win. The entire experience we had to keep asking for the next food item whereas our first visit they asked each time they brought the food.
Also, I have never seen such a poor quality and extremely thin ribeye being served.
Such a disappointing experience for spending well over $300. This really made me miss 88 Garden which used to be our favorite spot.

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. The food was average at most and the service was even worse. Our waiter did not write down our order, which quickly became a problem. We waited over an hour for an item we ordered, and it never arrived.
We asked multiple times about the missing dish, and each time we were told it was “coming,” but it never did. Not a single person ever apologized for the missing dish. On top of that, no one checked on our table or refilled our water at any point. The staff was not attentive at all.
At the end, we were still charged an automatic 20% tip despite the poor service and missing food. Overall, this was a frustrating experience and not somewhere I would recommend.

Alright I had a craving for some Korean chicken didn’t realize what I was walking into. Saw the price decide to have a seat and treat myself to some really good slices of chicken and beef that they grill for you or you can grill yourself you can get rice. There’s so many options that you or your family would love. Just bring your wallet. Food is so good. You’ll spend some money for this delicious experience it can get spicy.
