I have been dying for authentic korean food to come to Johnson City and this food truck does NOT disappoint. She whipped me up some kimbap so fast and I was literally dancing in my car it was SO GOOD. I should’ve looked for hours posted, please add your hours so I know when to come back! Thank you thank you

We’ve eaten from this Korean food truck 3 times and got different dishes, each time. EVERYTHING is over-the-top outstanding! Delicious and huge, huge portions…one entree feeds 2…Big bang for your buck. She cooks it when you order it…fresh, hot, seasoned perfect. And, she’s very kind. So far, I recommend the entire menu…so glad to have this food in our area!

Run, don’t walk or I guess drive, haha to Korean Food Macha Food Truck! The food was delicious and definitely satisfied my Korean food craving for those times I’m not feeling like cooking myself. I enjoyed it so much that I went back later that same week for another order. Everything was fresh and absolutely worth it.
If you’re looking for authentic Korean food, this is the place. I like it spicy and that’s what I got. The owner can also tailor the spice level to your preference, so don’t worry if you can’t handle the heat; there’s something for everyone!
The owner is so sweet, friendly, and easy to talk to. I’d recommend ordering ahead and arriving about 5–10 minutes before the estimated pickup time she gives you.
The portion sizes are generous and the quality matches the price. The spicy pork and beef bulgogi were delicious! I love a good banchan spread (side dishes), and she delivered. She even made me some white kimchi to try and I’m hooked. The gimbap was packed! For reference, my friend’s mom makes the best gimbap in the world in my opinion, K Pocha in Knox is a close second, mine’s a third, and this is a very respectable fourth
The kkanpunggi (spicy garlic fried chicken) was a first for me. It wasn’t my absolute favorite from her menu, but the flavors were a real experience. I arrived a bit late and they were slightly soggy, so I plan to try them again under better timing. The Gochu Twigim (stuffed spicy pepper) was surprisingly delicious but definitely brought the heat. If you have a sensitive stomach or digestive issues, proceed with caution! The tteokbokki was also delicious: just the right level of spice for me, and the rice cakes were perfectly chewy.
If you have any allergies or sensitivities, be sure to let her know. She can customize certain meals, but I’d still be cautious. She also has items not listed on the online menu, so ask what’s available. I spotted some galbi in person that I still need to try!
She’ll also be setting up Korean table grills sometime this spring (reservations only), and I cannot wait. This is quickly becoming my go-to Korean food spot. Go give her a visit. I promise it’ll be worth your time!
