The quality of food has decreased over the years. For example, the bi bim bap is now made with ground beef. Not traditional, but everyone makes it their own way…Comparing it to an American burger, it’s like getting a McDonalds burger vs seven brothers – so it was bi bim bap, just not the $20 worth they charge. Flavor was still good but i wouldn’t order from here again.

If I could give this place no stars, or even negative stars, I would. The meat was tough and dry, the flavor was terrible and definitely not authentic at all and somehow even the rice tasted bad. I’ve never had anywhere where white rice tasted so bad. I used to live in Korea and this is not even close to authentic. Even if I were to tone down my judgement and try to enjoy it as an “Americanized” version it still wasn’t worth consumption. This was $20 wasted. Three bites in and I was so grossed out by whatever nonsense this was I was eating I threw it all away. If I could go back I would have chosen somewhere else to eat.

I don’t ever typically judge a restaurant but its portion size as good quality ingredients generally cost more. However, That was $14.75. What a tiny portion size. It’s rice !!

Hmmm yummy!!! I honestly don’t know how authentic Korean food is supposed to taste like, but the food we ordered taste authentic.

Went here because it was the shortest line at nihonmatsuri and I know why no one was lined up. They charged 20$ for what looks like their medium beef bulgolgi bowl. The meat wasn’t tender or marinated well. The sauce they provided was the only flavor in the dish but even that couldn’t amount to much.
I know it wasn’t their typical location but it does not justify 20$ for a mediocre bowl.

I ordered Beef Bulgogi and a Thai Boba
The portion of the Bulgogi was very small. Probably half a cup of rice and a bit of Beef. There seemed to only be one size ( M ) for the Boba. Just for the 2 it was close to $25!! IMO this place is just too expensive. So many other options out there that give you greater portions and better tasting food. If the price was lower it would be a great place but for something that was almost the price for a dinner of 2 it’s not worth it

This is a small business in the food court of Ocean Mart. The food is always phenomenal, I have not had anything from there I didn’t like. If you catch when they have gimbap, get it, it’s fresh and delicious. The family that runs the place is always so kind to me, incredible service. If you like Korean food, get it here!

Stopped in to give this place a try. My first thought was the serving wasn’t that large for about $16. However, they fit a lot in the bowl and the taste was fantastic. having spent a few years in Korea I enjoy a good Spicy Pork Bulgogi and this was good. I did pre order on the phone so it was ready when I picked it up. They asked me on the phone how spicy I wanted it and I said very spicy. that was the only little bit of a disappointment. It was spicy but could have been spicier for me. That being said , I’ve been accused of being able to eat fire. I’d like to say I’ll be a regular but at $16 this will be a maybe once a month luxury meal for me.

The place is a bit pricey for the portions; the bowls look extremely small for what I paid for yet somehow this small bowl filled me up and the food tasted great. It’s a nice treat to get yourself every once in a while. Don’t be fooled by the the bowl size it will fill you up. If the food tastes great and fills me up is all I ask for when it comes to take out. 4 stars because I still find the food to be on the pricey side.
