Korat Thai, located in Upminster near Romford, Essex offers an authentic and classical Thai dishes with the emphasis on fresh, healthy & where possible, locally sourced ingredients, created by experienced Thai chefs. We accommodate most dietary requirements & have a good selection of vegetarian/vegan dishes, and we cater for all ages as we even have a kids menu. We have a Bar and provide a wide range of drinks including Cocktails for which we have an experienced waiter just for that! Korat Thai is open at 12pm from Tuesday through to Sunday. On Wednesday’s through to Sunday we have a Korat Prosecco Brunch at 12pm to 3pm, enjoy a mixture of Thai Style Tapas with Prosecco or Beer for £17.99. Our menu is available for take-aways too!

On Sunday afternoon we had the best lunch at Korat Thai in Upminster. Everything was perfect, most importantly the food was delicious and very filing and really good value. The guy serving us was brilliant, very amusing but also very professional. It was much quieter at this time but I understand it gets very busy. The lunch menu is smaller than the dinner menu but everything we ordered was delicious and we left happy and full. We will be returning to try the extensive dinner menu. Thank you.

Just come home, what a fantastic meal we had, everything from food, service and atmosphere was all perfect! Not sure how long this little gem has been here but 100% recommend and will be back, 2 courses and a bottle of wine about £65pp and we have enough food for dinner tomorrow which we was able to box up. We had the platter to share for starters, and then the chicken massaman curry and tamarind duck for main. I cannot fault the food.
2 for 1 cocktails from 5pm – 8pm, which were delicious!!
You get what you pay for, the restaurant is so lovely and updated.

Amazing food – just the right balance of flavor and spices – chicken satay was scrumptious. And then – my friend had mentioned to one of the staff that I was visiting her for my birthday – definitely not planned but the lights went down, I was presented with a gorgeous dessert and the whole restaurant sang happy birthday. Such a wonderful, thoughtful gesture – thank you ❤️
