The ice cream here is fantastic. We were visiting from Detroit. We had to find a good custard spot since Wisconsin is all about the dairy. The custard is thick, rich, and creamy. The cows in the back are wild. If you have never been here, give this place a try!

Everything is great here and well with a stop if your traveling by. It has plentiful parking with easy entrance and exit. Best time is when the weather is nice because you can sit outside to eat your food. The custard is very much better than Culver’s, so don’t think your going to get that mass appeal product. You’re going to like it.

This location is my least favorite Kopp’s. It feels very dirty and gross, the floors and tables were gross and sticky, as well as the bathrooms being disgustingly dirty to the point I wouldn’t even use the woman’s bathroom. They also don’t have a changing table for babies( which isn’t a big deal I just changed my son in the car). The staff member taking our order couldn’t focus at all and kept having to re-ask us what we said as he was staring into space and unfocused. The burgers were ok, but had a TON of ketchup on them. Way too much. You’d think I ordered extra ketchup x5 I had to wipe the burger off with a napkin. The ice cream was delicious as always.

If you are in the Milwaukee area and looking for a burger, this is the place to stop. The custard is fantastic as well!

Kopp’s is a total classic. The portions are huge, honestly more than you can finish and everything feels super fresh. It has that old-school charm that makes the whole experience even better.
Even though it’s always busy, they’re quick with orders and super efficient. The menu is simple, which I actually like no fuss, just good frozen custard and burgers.
Prices are decent for what you get, and there’s something nostalgic about the whole setup. Oh, and the line of cow statues in the parking lot? Loved that little quirky touch.
Definitely worth the stop if you’re in the area and craving something sweet.

This is a classic Milwaukee joint! I think you almost have to pay a visit here to understand:) the burgers & grilled chicken sandwiches are HUGE!! And so fairly priced. You can easily feed two people for under $20. It’s made to order, so don’t come when you’re hangry and impatient, because there’s usually it’s THAT good! It’s prepared pretty quickly and service is usually really good. No where to sit and eat inside – there are standing tables or go outside to sit on the stadium like concrete seating.
Don’t miss the cows out back… they are pretty mesmerizing!
This may not be gourmet, but it is classic, consistent, and so affordable! And then there is the ice cream – which might be the whole reason you come! Along with classic chocolate and vanilla there are two rotating and different flavors every day.

I just wanted to thank Autumn who waited on me after my 600 plus Mile drive to get to the store. I’ve been coming to the store for probably 40 years and would come more often when I lived in Manitowoc or Sheboygan. But I do get up this way quite a bit from Tennessee and never miss a chance to stop. Autumn was friendly and you could tell she enjoyed serving people. I hope she will get this compliment and know that she made a difference for me. I got my normal multi scoop. In the old days they had six scoops and they used to have a larger cone but they haven’t had that in at least 10 to 20 years as they went with a waffle cone which I don’t care for. I like the normal cake like cone but they wouldn’t put six scoopers on the smaller cake cone. Anyways I got a two-scooper and it was nice and large like I expected. It made my drive from Milwaukee to Manitowoc very enjoyable after consuming a two scooper. I hope others appreciate Autumn like I did.

Kopps is a local mainstay for frozen custard, burgers & fries. Was introduced to it last year and am now a big fan. The custard is high quality/tastes great and the burgers (I got a double) are HUGE and great quality. Great value and good food. No sit down dining here but they do have stand up tables and lots of outdoor seating. Each location is a bit unique.

If you are lactose intolerant, this place isn’t for you . Everything here is full of tasty cheese, butter and cream.
We came on the wrong time of the day, there where 30-50 inside waiting for their food, one guy took away 12-15 bags of stuff and we ended up waiting over 20 minutes for our burgers, onion rings and fries. But it was worth the wait as everything was hot, fresh and delicious.
The ice cream of the day was wedding cake and bourbon chocolate walnut, both so good.

Kopps is now a hit or miss unfortunately. You used to be able to go here for a good decent burger but now the burger is almost always sloppy and uneven… the patty is not the same quality it used to be as well. I can also guarantee that they’ll forget a topping or put too much of a topping that you asked to be “lite”. The ice cream of course is always a hit!
