We came here around Sunday noon for lunch. We were the second group, so we got a table right away. The restaurant has beautiful modern cozy interior, but the dining space is space, about 12 tables available. The menu has bunch of starters, couple of soups, and a good variety of main plates.
We started with the Chicken Bomb, such a delicious dish with fried chicken thigh, corn, tomato mixed with tamarind lime sauce. For entree I had the chili jam with shrimp. Again a dish filled with amazing flavors and sauces mixed with a dozen jumbo shrimps and vegetables, with side of rice. Just loved the it. We also had the Chicken Kee Mao, that had the wide rice noodles with vegetables. It was so obvious they were master of Thai flavors, cause all dishes had such depth and mix of spices and sauces. The Thai Iced was decent too.
All the staff member were so friendly. Our server Christine was such a pro. She was single handedly attending 4 tables, while also taking calls for pick up orders. The dishes were served in short time. Overall it was a really great lunch experience for our family. We will for sure stop by here again soon.

Wonderful Thai restaurant at Hillsdale NJ. The design is modern yet elegant. It gives an upscale vibe but still very easy and casual. If you are coming as a big group, definitely make a reservation. The staff is helpful and friendly. Attentive to customers.
The food is amazing. The presentation and flavor are both there. I would love the portion to be a little bigger. Chicken bomb is a must try (spicy level 1). The unique sauce over the crunchy chicken makes my top 3 favorites. Love the sweet, sour, Thai essence taste.
We also have chili shrimp (reduced spicy level to 1) and chicken pad see ew. Shrimps are jumbo size, cooked beautifully. Again the sauce elevates the dish to another level.
If you are in the area, give this place a try. I highly recommend

The best Thai restaurant I ever tried in U.S! Every food was beyond good. The taste & presentation were fantastic.✨️ The service was great as well. We had such a good time here. The best was Pad Thai with Fried Chicken!✨️

Really enjoyed my meal at Koon Thai Eatery. The Vegetable & Tofu Pad Thai had great authentic flavors…..perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and savory with fresh veggies and tofu. The Thai iced coffee was refreshing and hit the spot. Only minor issue: the noodles were a bit clumped and stuck together in sections, which made it harder to eat. Still delicious overall, friendly service, and cozy vibe. Solid spot for Thai in Hillsdale.

They must have a one-of-a-kind chef because, after visiting countless Thai restaurants, nothing compares to this place. This is the best Thai place in the area!! The food is absolutely amazing. We have been there over 7 times already. Their liche ice tea is perfect. Best appetizers and food, different than other Thai places. Place is very clean. Staff super friendly and helpful. They are really the best!!!

Tried this place in advice of a friend. I will have to say it’s probably now one of my 10 eat all time restaurants. The food is Thai but every dish has a twist. The Crispy Vermicelli appetizer was beyond amazing. I could have had 3 of those and been done. For dinner we had the red snapper and a dish called Hunger. Both were delicious….we all osticked the bowls! And for desert we had Pandan Custard and the mangos…..both amazing.
And our bill was about 60% of what I would have paid at other very good Thai restaurants that we frequent.

We’ve eaten at so many Thai restaurants, Michelin, in the city and in actual Thailand. This place was better. Honestly so so good. We’ve come back 3 days in a row and with friends. Literally telling everyone I know about this place. MUST TRY!! The Brussels sprouts, fish tacos, massaman and pok pok are musts!!

I placed my first takeout order and selected the KOON FRIED RICE and CHICKEN BOMB. Both dishes were quite delicious.
The moon fried rice contained sizable shrimp pieces, however, I did not detect any crab meat in the dish. The accompanying spicy lime sauce had an excellent flavor but lacked spiciness. On a scale of 1 to 5, I would rate the spiciness level as a 3. If you are familiar with Thai cuisine, you know that they typically provide additional spice on the side for those who prefer a more intense kick. Unfortunately, this option was not available with my takeout order, which I found rather disappointing.
The chicken bomb was also very enjoyable. I have no complaints, except that the portion size seemed small relative to the price.
Overall, I enjoyed my meal. However, the lack of pepper/spice options for those who desire it was a drawback.
They did provide a side sauce, but it was sweet, akin to a duck sauce.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience eating here se the food was phenomenal and the staff were extremely friendly. The atmosphere was also so nice for a perfect dinner spot. I appreciated our waitress who gave great suggestions and explained the dishes so well.
