A very small and quiet space for this little restaurant! Located ina very busy side of town, right by the parking garage, if can be kissed if you walk by. It’s very quiet and small, dark ambiance. I’m sure you can park in the garage or around North Market and walk on over.
We got 2 regular rolls and a specialty roll that ended up being okay. We were a bit disappointed because everything started tasting the same and didn’t have much flavor to each roll. And they weren’t very big, crumbled when they were picked up, and didn’t taste all that fresh. It was also a bit expensive for 3 rolls, we paid $43 before tax and tip.
I don’t think I would come back unless I was craving sushi and this was the only option around.
Staff was very nice, responsive, and filled our water often!

My fav place for sushi. I love their spider roll the most and it never breaks apart like other places. Hole in the wall place and definitely worth it

Soooo good! Came here before walking to Kemba for a concert! I like how Kooma is tucked away to the side. Quiet vibe, kind staff, delicious food. My friend and I were sat promptly and each ordered three rolls. All absolutely incredible! I will be back to try some of their hot items.

Very nice and cozy sushi place in downtown Columbus! The food was amazing, fresh fish, kind servers, and I love the atmosphere of the restaurent! Lots of Japanese decorations that really brings up the sushi experience. They also give parking discounts for the garage right next to them which is very helpful!

This is my favorite Sushi restaurant that serves the non raw variety. Firecracker roll is my favorite. Kooma number three is also great. We usually also get a Bruno roll but its more along the lines of “ok”.
We used to go here frequently when we lived closer. I think they changed their hours though. They don’t open until five.
I think it cost five dollars to park in the garage and if you ask they give you a voucher for two dollars off.

This place is UNREAL! I look forward to coming everytime I am in town for work. Usually I dine in but decided for takeout this time. The Erin roll is my go to plus classic Philly and Alaska rolls. Tried the chicken dumpling soup and it is so delicious with a rich beef broth. Great value for what you’re getting. Even better service!

This restaurant is a little tucked away but worth a visit. It was a chilly night so I wanted something warm and this meal hit the spot. The miso soup was rich in flavor and the hibachi plate was pretty good although the shrimp were pretty overcooked. The sauce that came with it though was super delicous. I also ordered some eel and sadly by the time it got to me it was quite cold. It seemed like they only had one server for the whole place so the sushi bar got backed up with orders a lot.

The sushi was very good, the fish quality is very good. Service was very bad though and is the one thing I hope they improve. Otherwise I would definitely come back again.
I would recommend trying it out if u are in the mood for good sushi

Vast selection of specialty rolls, nigiri, and maki rolls.
Small space but didn’t feel cramped. Good service and order arrived in adequate time.
Ordered the Kooma Volcano Roll and Gyoza. Both were delicious.
