The food was good, but not amazing. The meat portion for the jjampong was very generous, which I liked. The flavor was a bit lacking, though. The beef kalguksu flavor was on the lighter side. The bulgogi was pretty good, also not a strong flavor. Those who like light flavors would enjoy. There is not much seating, and we had to serve ourselves with water, kimchi, and takeaway containers.

Finally checked this place out after about 2 years of hearing about it, and honestly, pretty disappointed.

We started with the Korean Bulgogi appetizer—it wasn’t terrible, but had a weird medicinal taste, almost like it was marinated in something to cover up a smell. I ordered the Stir-Fried Beef with Noodles, and it was the biggest letdown. The noodles and sauce didn’t mix well at all, and it tasted more like Korean jaeyuk with cheese and noodles randomly thrown in—not a combo I’d try again.

Others in my party had the King Ribs Jjamppong, Spicy Chicken Noodle Soup, and Seafood Kalguksu—everyone agreed they were pretty mid.

The whole setup is self-service—you order at a kiosk, pick up your food, and return your own plates. That’s fine, but seeing a tip option on the kiosk was kind of ehh considering there’s no service.

Was excited to try this place, but overall it fell flat. Not planning on coming back.

We ordered the Beef Kooksoo, King Ribs Jjamppong, and LA Galbi. The beef kooks and king ribs jjamppong were both great noodle soups. The meat tasted great, and the additional toppings added additional flavor to the overall noodle soup. However, neither dish really stood out to me and the galbi was not very good either. I like that the restaurant has a kiosk to self-order, which reduces the pressure to tip a lot, making the prices here more efficient. Overall, this place is pretty decent but nothing special.

Tastes super yummy!! Love the texture of the noodle very chewy but soft as well. The soup base is also savory and rich! One minor suggestion is the server could tell us beforehand that everything is self served including cleaning the tray, so that we can adjust tips based on that.

We had an amazing meal at KOOKSOO! We ordered a variety of noodles — Jjambbong, Jajangmyeon, seafood noodles, and more — and paired them with combo choices like galbi and bulgogi. Every dish was so flavorful and authentic. The kalguksu soup had such a rich, deep taste, and the noodles were perfectly chewy — just like the ones I’ve had in Korea.

It’s a wonderful place to go with family — our whole group, from grandparents to parents to kids, all enjoyed the food and the warm, welcoming atmospher

I don’t see the point of the self-service concept at this restaurant. If we’re expected to carry our own food to the table, then why is the staff coming around to collect the carts afterward? It feels redundant and poorly thought out. As for the seafood noodles, the seafood tasted very fishy and lacked any depth of flavor. Overall, very disappointing. One star.

Excellent customer service and very friendly staffs. Also, the foods were really good. I loved my bibim cold noodle here the best out of all the korean restaurants nearby. Other soups were amazing, too. Out of all the meat options, I highly recommend LA galbi. Price is pretty fair for the generous amount of food. Would definitely recommend! This place has limited seats, so I did see a lot of people waiting to be seated around lunch time by the time we got out. I got there early, so I didn’t have to wait.

Yummy. Big. The noodle is one of the best.
I shared a lobster jangpong noodle and LA Galbi. The seafood is delicious, lobster good quality and size, soup well balanced. But when I guy to the noodle… man. I can have a lot less embellishment just to enjoy the noodle more. Next time I’ll try a less festive composition so I can taste it as a purist. Highly recommended. Btw it’s self-served, like McDonald’s you order on a screen, get the number and wait to pick up your food. No need to tip even when I did on screen. You can always tip cash in jar after. I learned.

This is a self service place with free water and korean hot tea. You order on a machine first as you go into the door before sitting down and the food is brought to your table. I had the classic beef soup noodle and it was excellent. The broth is like a slightly thick miso soup base with extra garlic flavor, yum! The noodles were elastic and perfectly el dente. There were zucchini and thinly sliced fatty beef. I got regular spice level which was just right for me. Place was clear and newly renovated as well.

The food was a hit or miss. Beef stir fried noodle was extremely greasy with no flavor to speak of. The rib jjampon was salty; the rib had hardly any meat and barely no seafood. The abalone noodle, chicken kal kooksoo and LA galbi was good. The service was great and the place was very clean. I really liked that they have carts since I’m always nervous about the self service places with just trays when the menu involves piping hot soups.
