Yes yes yes. This place is amazing. From the second you walk in the vibrant decoration to the pack full tables, you immediately know you’re in for a treat.

All the servers and hostesses were super nice, explained things well, and were happy to be there.

We started with some coffee drinks at the bar before our table. Dark Horchata was amazing, Cafe de ills was so refreshing. Our friends got micheladas that were large and super good.

The pancakes may have been the best we’ve ever had. From the corn and crispness to the thick moist fluffy inside, and the condensed milk instead of syrup. This is MUST get. We will be back to get this again!

3 Huevos al Gusto was a big portion. Chorizo was buzzing with flavors, bacon thick and crispy. We got the added steak and it was thin but tender, and well seasoned.

We can’t wait to come back!!

My only complaint would be they’re not open for dinner because it was SO nice! A bit crowded between tables. You are given a small cup of hot Mexican coffee upon being seated. Let’s say it was sugar with a bit of coffee lol but delightfully spiced. I ended up pouring mine over ice and I enjoyed that. This is not your Americanized boiler plate Mexican restaurant. It was full of ladies having brunch. I got the pork Montaditos which was like an open faced barbecue sandwich with a tostone bun. Excellent comfort food. Hubby got chicken enchiladas chock full of chicken. He cleaned his plate. I only wish I’d had room for dessert because they sounded amazing.

Truly one of the best restaurants we have been to in a long time. Staff were so sweet and generous. Food was insanely good. During our week long trip this is where we chose to eat every other day! Absolutely perfect every single time. The chai tea is delicious. Avocado toast is so divine and adding their habanero sauce on top is top tier.

This place never disappoints. The workers are super friendly and attentive, food is always fresh and delicious, and atmosphere is super chill. Service is usually quick. They have tons of food options and their coffee is so yummy. I love that they give you a free espresso shot of their house blend and have authentic, exceptional dishes. The cafe is small but tables are spread out enough to where you’re not crammed. I definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a unique brunch experience.

Maria was my server and her smile made me feel right at home, even though I was dining alone while traveling on business. The coffee drink I had was a wonderful treat of caramel, espresso, and vanilla ice cream. The chicken tostadas were perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the shells were crispy, fresh, and delicious! The atmosphere is cozy and chic. It was busy but service was quick and friendly. It’s clearly popular with the locals and seemed like a beautiful place to have a brunch party! I wish it was near me!!

Kooben’s charm is immediate! Warm service and a relaxed vibe set the mood perfectly. The service was top tier! We ordered the Tacos Dorados y Fideos and the Pancakes de Maíz.

Tacos Dorados y Fideos: Three crispy flautas stuffed with chicken, topped with lettuce, black bean purée, sour cream, and queso fresco. The flautas were nicely seasoned and crunchy, and the toppings added a great balance of creaminess and brightness.

Pancakes de Maíz: Corn pancakes with berries and honey: pleasantly sweet, light, and a nice corn-forward twist on breakfast pancakes.

Only real complaint: the accompanying noodle broth soup didn’t work for me, it felt flat and didn’t complement the flautas the way I expected.

Overall: inventive, tasty, and worth a visit. Fix the soup and it’s a five-star spot.

Always PERFECTION. Stop eating boring American-style breakfast that you can get anywhere. Refried black beans are a breakfast game changer. Every single thing on their menu is good, you can’t order something bad. Get the Mexican Hot Chocolate (theirs is amazing), enjoy the new covered patio, and always take a flan to-go for later! (My go-to is the poached eggs with beans, then I select bacon, chorizo, and cheese. It comes with toasts.) They always have impeccable service and cleanliness here.

I’ve been here about 5 times and I’m blown away every time! The food and service is unbelievable! The coffee is the best I’ve ever had—honestly! I love the pistachiolatte. The corn pancakes are out of this world delicious. The portions are great and prices are fair! Highly recommend!

With smoothies costing $7 and a coffee $4 we tried the basic portions of soup and flautas. I included my receipt it still cost $60 and a $5 tip for a party of 2 adults and a child. We paid $15 for a nicely decorated sweet bread and berries. The portions are sadly really small. Very little meat for what they charge, nothing spectacular flavors are below average, much better choices elsewhere. The only good thing was smoothie and the bread. The setting and decor was pleasant. The server brought out our food with no silverware it took about 5 minutes after asking for it. We left still hungry and went somewhere else to eat. Again hardly any meat here very dissatisfied. And only one bathroom for everyone customers and employees.
