This is the only place I know of where you can order any kind of soup dish with ox tail, and it hits the spot!!! The ox tail ramen broth is delcious, and the meat is so tender that it feels like it melts in your mouth. I ordered some salmon nigiri and had some plum sake and a sake bomb as well. Everything was fantastic and our server, Hayden, was really charismatic and took great care of us.

Dined here tonight with my husband on a date night that are few and far between. We have dined at Konomi many times and have loved the food and service in the past, but tonight was a completely different story. We arrived at 7:39 and were quickly seated. The dining room was half full with a full room of hibachi going on. We were greeted by our server and ordered right away. We get our soups right away and a refill. Fast forward to 45 min later. Our waitress hasn’t checked in and our food arrives and my husband’s entree was dried and crunchy on top. It had clearly been sitting under the warmer in the back for god knows how long. We were running late to our other plans for the night, so we ask for the check and complain about my husbands dish. They offer to remake it and it comes out in 15 minutes but at this point we are late to our other plans, so we ask for my husbands to go. I also ask to speak to the manager to talk about our experience but was told that I would have to wait another 15 minutes before we could speak to him. So we reluctantly paid and left. My husband had to eat his dinner in the car even after we had dined in for over an hour. We will not be returning. Don’t waste your time waiting for crunchy food and then have to pay for it.

The sushi here is the best I’ve ever had, and that, unfortunately, is most of the reason why I’m rating 4 stars. If you want great nigiri this place is awesome. My partner got a “steamed bun” that was more like a steamed taco. The flavor of the pork belly was great, and I will point out the server let us know it was more like a taco before hand, but it’s still misleading to call it a steamed bun.

Always has had decent food. Sushi topnotch usually. But now the service has plumited further than we would like to see. And on top of it, she got away with a forced 18% gratuity tip. She was not worth 15%… be careful here. Apparently they like big crouds or heavy drinkers, not couples whove been coming for years.

Me and my husband went here for Valentine’s Day. And I absolutely love it! Their sushi and food is so good!! If anyone loves this kind of food please go check this place out I highly recommend going!!! Their service was good overall. The place is very clean and the food tastes amazing!!

My friend and I came here for dinner. Food here is amazing. The server Marwa is super friendly and helpful. She helped my friend find dietary restrictions food. I definitely will come back. At the end of the night we asked for mochi and unfortunately we were informed that they recently took that off the menu. I do wish they can bring mochi back on the menu.

This is a quaint little restaurant with an unassuming interior. I had the oxtail ramen and green tea mochi. First off, let me say that the mochi stole the show. It was excellent. The Ramen was okay, but it was difficult to get all of the flavors to meld. The bamboo and green were large cut and not easily integrated into the dish as a whole but had excellent flavor. The oxtail, noodles and broth were independently bland as much Japanese food can be. I felt if all of the flavors could have been easily mixed, the dish would have eaten more cohesively.
