We got there late in the day & they were out of bureks, but they offered to make a fresh one for us. It might be the best thing I’ve ever eaten. We got one meat and one feta & spinach. We will definitely be back. Incredible food & wonderful customer service.

Oh my goodness! The food here is delicious! The goulash and the stuffed peppers are AMAZING! You have to try this homemade food made with love. I have to go back and try more of their offerings. Grab some for a dinner party. Your guests will love you! Yummy food and desserts. If you haven’t tried Balkan Food you should. I plan to come back soon!!

We got meat burek with very delicious yogurt. Then got a platter of ćevapčići with ajvar, kajmak, lepinje, and fries – it was top notch (we ordered more ćevapi, since they were so good). Loved the cabbage salad and hot and mild pickled peppers as well. Excellent cake and coffee to finish off a delicious meal. Between the two of us, we were stuffed. The food was so, so good! Thanks for the hospitality and the home cooked food. I will come again next time I am in Chicago.

I always drive by this location, but it wasn’t until yesterday that I realized it was a restaurant. Came today with my boyfriend; I ordered the stuffed peppers, and he ordered the meatballs and it was DELICIOUS. It really felt like I was eating a homecooked meal, the woman who served us was very sweet. This was our first time trying Bulkan food, and I’m glad we got to experience it here!!
