Such a great sushi spot! The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made. Everything we tried was delicious, and the quality definitely exceeded expectations.
Portions were generous, prices were very reasonable, and everything tasted super fresh. It’s hard to find a place that balances quality and affordability this well.
We ordered a crunch roll, chicken fried rice and the chicken yakisoba.
Highly recommend. We’ll definitely be back! ✨

Today, during a walk, we came here for lunch. We took a box for two and the portion is really big. The food is quite tasty. Deliciously cooked. I didn’t like that my water tasted like dishwashing detergent

Revisited with my daughter for a sushi date, and I was once again amazed by the flavorful sushi that is served. Its a small place but cozy love the atmosphere and the options of inside and outside sitting as well has a small bar area or you can also watch them make the sushi. We ordered two rolls tiger and a wake and bake. Both have well balanced flavors and honestly making me want more, I wanted to order a third roll of how delicious they are. We both agreed to come back to keep ordering different rolls from the menu.

Excelled bento box and reasonably priced cocktails. I haven’t had good Japanese food and teriyaki since I moved to the desert. Everything had great flavors. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant. It’s also located in a great neighborhood.

Had an incredible lunch at Konnochiwa Sushi & Bar! Delicious fish, we had the Las Vegas roll, Cutie Pie Roll, Volcano Roll, and the 15 piece sashimi chefs choice. Everything on the menu looked great, excited to return in the future. We sat outside which is dog friendly, and the service was very quick and friendly. Really cute downtown to walk around in, highly recommend!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. It’s in a lovely section of La Mesa, right off of La Mesa Boulevard. The service is always friendly, and the food is fantastic. They serve delicious Ramen, along with all the usual Sushi, Sake, and everything else that you would crave. Definitely visit this place any time you’re in the Lamesa area. They have a great happy hour that features some great deals and options.

They have happy hour til 7pm on weekdays! The outside tables are a nice spot to people watch on la mesa Blvd. I really like the gigi roll that has tempura asparagus in it, love the crunch. They also have a great beer selection on tap.

I usually don’t leave negative reviews but due to the lack of follow up and resolution to the issue, customers should know. We have been coming to this place since we moved to SD 3 years ago. We love Friday’s during the farmers market to people watch. The service and food has always been awesome. Large portions, tasty and good prices. However, I did a take out order a couple weeks ago for a beach picnic with my husband.
I surprised when I was told the total which about 30-35% increase and this was not reflected in their online menu, which by the way still has not been updated. I proceeded with the order anyway because we love the food here. I paid extra $2 for spicy yellowtail on the Volcano roll instead of crab because of allergies. Picked up the order, did not check it because I have never had an issues. Driver 25 mins to the beach to realize the order still had crab not the spicy yellowtail which we paid extra for and the scallop roll also had the crab salad on it. We could not eat either roll I called to speak with the manager. She stated that he would remake it. However we were already out of the area. I was given the owners information. I called them on the next business day. It’s been over 2 weeks and no response and no resolution. I have called spoke with manager Shane who’s been very courteous. However no resolution. Just good money wasted without getting the product I purchased. This is absolutely unreasonable and not the way loyal customers or any customer paying good money should be treated.
