Me & my Husband dined in the other night (I’m back waiting on a pick up order) and we had a great experience with an attentive waitress. I heard some things on the local FB pages about lack of attentiveness and I honestly would say it’s because they were freshly opened, probably busy and sometimes there are small language barriers. We enjoyed our food through & through. California rolls, hibachi meal with noodles & a bento box. Great selection of alcohol but they were not able to sell any quite yet. The best part was me returning today to place an order for to-go. Three people asked if I needed help or have been helped and I really loved that. As I sat at their current make-shift bar, I was chatted up by one of the waiters. He was so personable and asked about my day and business etc., he offered me a drink of choice (I chose water and he said I made a good choice haha we laughed about that). That was really caring all in all and that’s what I truly love about good customer service. This will be me & my husbands new regular spot for casual hibachi & sushi!
I will say the pricing on the rolls are a bit more expensive than I have had in the metro area but it’s worth it as it tastes great & fresh and the environment is really nice inside.

Konnichiwa in Rock Hill is open (in the old Hooters building) and it is phenomenal! Easily the best sushi in Rock Hill. I haven’t been to the one in Fort Mill, but everything here in RH was amazing. Everyone was friendly and attentive, the place was clean, and the food was delicious! They’re still waiting on their liquor license, but that was not a deterrent for me. Incredible – go check them out!

Tried them for the first time tonight and very disappointed. Started with what they claimed was toro. See picture below that was not toro for $21 for 3pcs. It was tender tuna, but nowhere near toro. Then we ordered spicy tuna rolls and some other rolls that use spicy tuna. There was no crunch in the mix and it was just mushy mess with a lot of sugar added. The philly roll was not even proportionally correct in the roll. Probably the worst sushi we have had especially $150 for three of us.we had to yell for service and even for the check son we could leave.

I went for the first time tonight. They were slammed. When I walked in, every table was full, there were to go orders, and people were at the sushi bar. Within 10 minutes there were 20+ at the door on a wait list. I have bartended for 10+ years and I am quite picky. SAM!!!! This man is . Amongst the chaos, he made sure to check on me and provide exceptional service (only for a togo order by the way). I got home and tried the food and it is a done deal. I hope they liked me because I will be going back to see Sam on a regular basis!!

We went there for dinner last night, 4 adults and two kids one of which is in a car seat. They were very accommodating to us. The service was amazing, drinks were taken as soon as we sat down and they were very attentive. The food came out quick and was fresh and hot! It was all really delicious. We definitely will be back!

I came here for lunch with my lovely wife. Unfortunately my wife was the only thing lovely about our lunch. This place has food and it’s not offensive to eat. That’s all I can say about it sadly. We started with the takoyaki which was pretty good, but I’m guessing it’s pre-made. My wife got the chicken katsu bento. It was overall bland, lacking in flavor. The chicken was just a way to eat sauce, again not bad per se, just blah. The California sushi roll pieces were wilted and the avocado was just mush. I tried the ramen, which was nothing special. However the egg was over hard boiled with a grey ring around the yoke, not at all jammy like it should be for ramen. Again I know they aren’t specializing in Ramen here but if it’s on the menu I would appreciate if it included flavor. Our waiter was nice, and the atmosphere is… Well it’s an old Hooters so nothing special. TLDR This place lacks flavor, texture, aroma and anything to make it worth coming back to. If you want food they have it here just not with flavor.

I must say, the meal was rather delightful, and the staff attended to me with such genuine care. It would be quite ungrateful of me not to acknowledge when things are done well. Everything was simply great, and I find myself with not a single note of criticism. A truly pleasant experience from start to finish.
