Konnichiwa (こんにちは) (pronounced: kon-nee-chee-wah) is a Japanese greeting, typically a mid-day to early evening greeting (10:00 AM to 5:59 PM). It is also used as an informal greeting, hello. With kanji, Konnichiwa is written as 今日は. To us ‘Konnichiwa’ is a warm, welcoming greeting to every guest and community we serve across the Carolinas. Reviews
This place never disappoints. The sushi is very fresh, with generous cuts of fish and perfectly seasoned rice. You can really taste the quality in every bite.
The service is friendly, fast, and professional. The staff is always welcoming and happy to give recommendations. The restaurant itself is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it a great spot for both casual dining and family meals.
Highly recommend their special rolls and ramen.
Everythings is consistently delicious. I’ll definitely coming back again
My experience here is a bit conflicting. On the positive side, I truly enjoyed the chicken and steak bowl, and our server was extremely kind and attentive.
Unfortunately, the issue was with management. My daughter ordered sushi that she did not like. When the manager came to our table to discuss whether it could be exchanged for something else, he stated that nothing is returnable or exchangeable, and that even if the food is not eaten, it must still be paid for. This meant she would have had to pay for the sushi she didn’t eat and purchase another full meal, which was very inconvenient.
I’ve honestly never been to a restaurant with a policy like this. The manager repeatedly referenced the menu, saying it “has everything on it,” but as we all know, taste matters—and you don’t know until you try it. This was our very first visit, and unfortunately, it wasn’t a great experience. My daughter literally left hungry.
What made the situation worse was that while explaining the policy, the manager never once apologized for the inconvenience. Just a heads-up to others: please be absolutely sure about what you order here.
