This sushi place was delicious! We started with miso soup and the ginger salad. Then we ordered 4 rolls to share and they were all yummy. Our server was very attentive and kind.

I don’t really care for sushi, but they had several baked options that are left. Everyone that I die enjoy the atmosphere and the service.

Great local sushi spot I keep coming back to!

I’ve been to Konichiwa in Charlotte several times now and it’s consistently a solid experience. The sushi is fresh and flavorful — the Maruu , Negitoro and Salmon Lover Roll are personal favorites and definitely worth trying.

They have a very extensive menu, which can be a bit overwhelming at times. While the variety is great, I think a more focused selection could make the experience even better.

Parking is a plus — there’s a covered lot behind the shop, which is super convenient especially on rainy days.

Prices are a little higher than some of the other neighborhood sushi spots, but that’s understandable since they also offer quality steak and seafood dishes alongside sushi.

Overall, it’s a good spot whether you’re grabbing a casual dinner or going on a nice night out. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area!

I ordered to-go lunch specials for three people: two sashimi lunch platters and one vegetable bento box. The online menu lists the sashimi lunch platter at $16.95 and the vegetable bento box at $10. However, each item was charged $6–7 more in the restaurant than the prices advertised online.

In addition, sauces were charged separately. After spending $92 on three lunch specials, it was surprising that sauces were not included.

I recommend updating the online menu prices to accurately reflect in-store pricing so customers are not caught off guard by an additional $20–30 at checkout.
