Our first time here, Mr. Ahn gave us a hard time and proceeded to be the utmost gentleman, emphasizing the lack of chemicals and MSG used in his delicious food!! Can’t wait to come back, the plaza it’s hidden is why we missed it for the last six years. There’s always next time for the breakfast rolls and the actual Korean dish, I had the salmon burger and it was so killer that I told him with my mouth full – when he came outside to check on us and how the food was!! The King Kong Burger got a five star rating too!! We got caramel and mocha coffee too, they also matched in deliciousness. Like I said, can’t wait to come back for breakfast rolls!! Thanks Mr. Ahn!!!

EDIT: Our breakfast roll experience was CHEF’S KISS – I never really inhaled my breakfast before this. It was so difficult to not bite my fingers while enjoying the wraps, we have been missing out on this place so much. I’m so glad we can catch up!!

The Kong burger is excellent and I enjoyed mine at an outdoor table in the shade, but next time I will get the bibimbop. There was a table of people on their lunch break near me enjoying the healthy, filling, delicious bibimbop meal and raving about it to each other. Quality ingredients, organic and fresh.

I recently tried Kong’s Burger and really liked it. While many burger places are delicious, they often taste quite similar. Kong’s Burger stood out with a more distinct flavor, and the slightly crispy bun (maybe intentional, maybe a bit overcooked) added a nice texture that made the burger more memorable.

I recently visited Kong’s Burgers, a place that had great reviews online, and I was in the area, so I thought I would give it a shot. Unfortunately, it did not live up to my expectations. The burger I ordered, the King Kong Burger, wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either. The staff upsold me to the King Kong Burger, claiming it tastes better with more “good stuff.” Feeling adventurous, I went for it.

To my dismay, the King Kong Burger was underwhelming, and the hype seemed unmerited. Adding to the disappointment, I received a warm can of Coke Zero when I asked for a cold one. The customer service was lackluster, and the overall experience left me with no desire to return.

In conclusion, Kong’s Burgers was a letdown, as I expected much more from a place with such rave reviews. The food and service were subpar, and I won’t be coming back.

After a brief hyping up of the food they serve and their prices, I had very high expectations for my beef king kong burger, and my friends potato veggie burger.
But they delivered with delicious homemade, and fresh burgers. Juicy patties with fresh veggies and delicious cheese.
The fries were nothing special, but could be worse.
As far as pricing goes, it is priced reasonably well but once you order fries it’s pretty average for California.
No bathroom.

First time here. This is the guy that used to owns Kong’s market in Santa Cruz.

The owner likes to banter and joke with the customers. So good vibes and always good to support hardworking business owners

I got the Philly Cheesesteak. And Onion Rings.

This would probably be 4.5/5 stars if the portions where bigger or price was lower.

Philly was real good. Very tasty. They might put Mayo on it. So make sure you ask or tell them no Mayo

Onion rings for 4.99 you only get about 7 rings. Again real good.

I’ll be going back to try some other items and to support cool local businesses

Second visit and I really wanted to like this place. But the burrito was again so greasy- even the tofu one- that I won’t return. And honestly not very tasty.

Breakfast burrito was off the hook huge. the coffee is amazing. I’m told it’s all organic and all 100 percent fresh. The burrito was so big I ate it at home for breakfast for 2 more days! Onion rings exceptionally good.

I love this place – food is delicious and fresh with the best ingredients and the owners are so nice. Burger, bibimbop, or breakfast burritos – you can’t go wrong! Their homemade sauces are bomb ⚡️ pro tip, get the sweet potato patty on the bibimbop.

Great spot for bibimbap! The homemade kimchi is the bomb. Next time I will probably throw down for extra spicy pork just to make it a bit more filling, but still totally worth it as-is. It is a mom and pop shop, though, so if you’re in a hurry it’s best to call in your order ahead of time.

The owner is such a sweet guy, takes a lot of pride in his work and has a good sense of humor. The food was excellent, I had a pork king kong burger and my mom (who is picky) had a beef kong burger with some of the toppings removed. Both were delicious and filling, we also shared some fries which were really delightfully light and crispy. Food came out quickly and was fresh and warm. Literally the best burger in the entire county.
