EDIT: corn dog turned out to be so raw inside we thought it was cheese. Asked for a refund and was argued with, no one knew how to give the refund and the manager wasn’t there, once I got them on the phone they barely spoke English’s and couldn’t understand me.
Absolutely zero stars.

Please do not eat here. I’m truly not picky but between the 10 minutes we stood up front looking for an employee, the bubble tea that was actually an entire glass of whole milk packed with ice (I even went and asked the employee and was told the drink was made correctly) and the fact that we spent $40 on 2 corn dogs and 2 drink was absolutely absurd.

I ordered through Doordash. I picked it up and I noticed that the Spicy Mayo sauce I asked for on the side and that I paid extra for was missing. Then I got towards the bottom of the Kongdog only to realize they gave me the wrong dog. I ordered a hot Cheeto half beef half mozzarella. It was all mozzarella. Unfortunately I didn’t eat it at the mall and waited to eat it at home over 35 minutes away. I was so annoyed when I couldn’t find a phone number to call the store to let them know of their mistake and see if they could credit me.

Got the sweet potato kong dog and my first one was totally raw on the inside. I went back to have it remade and the girl at the counter was very friendly and apologetic about it. It took a while for the remade one to come out, but it was very busy so I was understanding. When I got my new one, it was way overcooked. The sweet potato on the outside was like charcoal. I tried to give it a shot but the sweet potato lost all its flavor except burnt and the breading was pretty flavorless as well. I just decided to cut my losses, but I was so disappointed because I was trying to treat myself for the day.

Got the sweet potato corndog with half beef and half cheese. The sweet potatoes on the outside were burnt to a crisp. Could still taste the ash past the sugar added.

Expensive for low quality food, and not much of it.

The iced strawberry matcha latte barely tasted like matcha, and used gross artifical strawberry syrup instead of jam. For $7, definitely not worth it

You literally can’t order the dumplings without their almost inedible French fries. $11 for 6 small dumplings and tasteless fries.

Get from the Chinese place, at least the food is decent

It’s a Korean corndog. Just like any other Korean corndog that I’ve had.

The drink is the problem. Mango LEMONADE smoothie should contain *gasp* lemonade! I watched him make it. Lemonade machine right there. Did any go in? Nope! I tasted it. No lemonade. I talked to the lady about it and was told that the “flavor is in the syrup”. It absolutely is not! It’s very bland when it’s missing the main ingredient.

Get a dog if you must try one. But save yourself an expensive disappointment and get drinks somewhere else.

Well after looking at the reviews I realize I’m here to say the same thing. The workers suck. One was just standing there on her phone not doing shit. The one that rang me up was playing with some key chain the whole time. Wouldn’t sell me a sauce because “ummm that’s for the chicken” ok can I buy one? “That’s for the chicken” ma’am there’s 100 sauces sitting in the window. Charge me for a sauce. She was rude and dismissive. Super immature. Where’s management with all these shitty reviews about the staff?

Interesting place in the food court of the galleria mall. Is the food good??? Good question, definitely unique and edible. I haven’t been craving it. Service is like a fast food set up so the employees seem more invested in their phones instead of explaining the menu to customers. Prices are affordable and not high. If you are foodie definitely try this place out.

This was my first Kong Dog. I’m a hot dog enthusiast from The Bronx, so the anticipation of trying a dog with a twist excited me. I’m sorry to say, the anticipation was more thrilling than the Kong Dog itself. I ordered a beef dog with a potato cover, and my wife ordered the beef dog with a sweet potato cover. Oddly, the sweet potato chunks didn’t have much flavor, and the potato pieces tasted more like chopped-up potato sticks. We both came to the same conclusion- the dog tasted good, but the dough and toppings were just okay. I think I might have been better off getting four classic dogs with traditional toppings somewhere else for the price of these two novelty dogs.
