I always love coming here during the off-season (I visited at the end of October) because everything is discounted. They have ice cream, fudge, candied nuts, chocolates, and all kinds of candies. It can get a bit busy at times, but everything is so good that it’s absolutely worth the wait.

If you happen to show up when the cruise, ships are in town be prepared to wait. I don’t know if that’s the only ice cream store in town but it certainly does a great business. The staff is very young, polite, energetics, and helpful. They have a great selection of dryers ice cream in addition to an assortment of fudges, roasted nuts, and jelly beans. Definitely worth a try.

I recently took the Norwegian cruise to Alaska. Skagway was one of our stops. After the train ride, we walked around the town, stopped by the Kone Kompany for a treat. And oh boy, was it a treat! The “Motherload” fudge was absolutely worth trip!! If you’re ever in Skagway, do yourself a favor, stop by and try the fudge. My husband had ice cream and said it was delicious as well!!
