Enjoyed their Veg and Non-veg thali when we visited Konaseema Cuisine this weekend. This was our second time visiting. They didn’t disappoint. The staff is friendly and the place is neat and welcoming. Just the service is slightly slow, so be patient.

I love Konaseema cuisine. Its consistenly delicious. The flavors are so distinct and aromatic. Today we got the chilli paneer, the tomato soup, malai kofta, palak paneer, kadai vegetable, Malabar paratha, garlic and onion naan, and the veg biryani. Everything was such a hit. No need for to go boxes because our party of 7 cleared the table. Portions are bigger compared to other places. Thanks for a wonderful dinner. My family visiting from out of town really enjoyed it and so did we!!!

One of our friends referred us to this restaurant. It was our first time trying this restaurant. The ambience was good. The staff were very friendly. The food arrived pretty quick and I would say the taste was eight out of 10. This restaurant is a typical Telugu style restaurant and has variety of food. Kona biryani is rated as one of the most delicious biryani. You can buy them here. Definitely a must try a restaurant.

Konaseema is a must-try! The food was delicious, authentic, and packed with flavor. Portions were generous, and everything came out hot and fresh. The staff was polite and helpful, and the overall experience was excellent. If you like Andhra-style flavors, this place is a gem. Highly recommend!

We ordered Malai Kofta, Konaseema Special Chicken Biryani, and Fish Fry. While the Fish Fry and Kofta were fairly decent, the chicken in the biryani was extremely disappointing; it was of very poor quality and had an unpleasant smell. This completely ruined our dinner experience, especially since we were looking forward to enjoying the biryani. It’s really unfortunate that some restaurants compromise on basic quality like this, especially when it comes to something as essential as chicken.!!

I dropped in for late lunch and ordered pachi mirchi chicken and Konaseema chicken biryani.
I loved the tenderness of the chicken but the pachi mirchi fell a little flat in flavors. Prolly next time I will try it in the higher spicy level.
The biryani can be broken down into couple departments
The breaded chicken tasted like pre-made chicken that was heated in a wok and got added to the biryani rice.
But the biryani rice itself was AWESOME !! Usually I prefer my biryani rice to retain some moisture and it did….the spices was very well married with the rice. The other best part was the shorba/gravy. Hardly anyone gets it right…but this place nailed it.
If I were to take out the chicken ..biryani was great!!
Will go again to try the other items.
The interior decor was very welcoming with nice wall treatments. Didn’t mind the movies and songs playing in the background.
Staff was very courteous and knowledgeable about the items.
Worth another visit.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely loved Koonaseema Cuisine
We reached pretty late — around 9:45 PM — and honestly thought they might turn us away since closing time was near. But the staff was so kind and welcoming, they let us dine in without any hesitation. Even though it got close to 10:20 PM, they didn’t rush us at all or make us feel like we had to leave. That level of hospitality?
Now let’s talk food — oh man, it was amazing! There’s a huge variety of dishes for everyone: plenty of vegetarian options, loads of non-veg specialties, and everything had just the right kick of authentic spice. You can really taste the rich South Indian flavors, especially from the Koonaseema region — super flavorful, comforting, and fresh.
The atmosphere was cozy, and even at closing time, everything was served hot and perfectly seasoned. You can tell they really care about the experience.
Definitely a must-visit spot in Rocky Hill for anyone craving real Indian cuisine — especially if you love bold, spicy flavors. Highly, highly recommended! ️

Biryani was excellent (goat dum biryani). Nattu Kodi Pulusu was HOT and incredible. Gongura mutton was really good as well. Their chicken 65 is really well made. Crispy, light and not greasy but flavorful. Service can be a bit slow and staff isn’t super duper attentive with water and such so knocking some points off for that.

We ordered the Chicken Biryani and mutton pulao. Besides it being extremely spicy which we clearly said should be mild spicy, there was a nail in the chicken biryani which is the most popular here. It is an expensive place as well and we do not expect it to sell us nails atleast. Please don’t go here.
