Definitely a go to for yummy sushi! I’ve never been disappointed with the taste and food quality.
The lunch bento boxes used to be a better deal before they raised the price. For me it makes more sense to get the sampler and another roll.
Servers are always incredibly friendly at this location. Love the big windows to watch the goings on in the quaint Olde Walkerville area. Highly recommend Kona, it’ll quickly become your favourite too.

Just WOW! Highly recommend coming to Kona Sushi for the AYCE – there is a large selection of different appetizers and sushi but what makes them unique is all the different combination of sushi that they have! Our server VIVIAN took great care of us, she was very attentive in a busy environment and was on our order quickly. Thank you to her for providing a great birthday experience. She also gave us a complimentary birthday dessert which was yummy!

What an amazing experience!!! I cannot put into words what a spectacular night we had celebrating my son’s 17th birthday. Our server Andy was one of the highlights to our night and he really showed us the best service on our sons special night.
The food presentation and quality was on point tonight. Cringe but it was bussin! Haha.

We had a wonderful dining experience from start to finish. The service was very good, and our server, Krysta, was especially pleasant and polite. She made us feel welcome, checked in at just the right times, and ensured everything went smoothly for our group.
The sushi was exceptionally fresh with a very clean, delicate taste. Every piece was beautifully prepared, and we had no issues at all with texture—everything was perfectly balanced and enjoyable. It was clear that care and attention went into both the presentation and the quality of the ingredients.
As a group, we felt the overall experience was very harmonious. The atmosphere, service, and food all came together seamlessly. We left feeling completely satisfied and would happily return again. Highly recommended!

Leaving my first bad review — sorry, but I spend too much money here for it to be this bad lately. We usually spend around $120 per order, and the inconsistency is crazy. Rolls fall apart, items are missing, and it feels like more rice than anything. The tuna tasted slightly off this time, and we didn’t even bother ordering edamame since they forgot it the last two times. The dine-in all-you-can-eat is great, but online orders have become a real disappointment.

I have been coming to kona for 4 years now, I have come for date nights, anniversary, engagement, birthdays & ordered takeout, it’s my favourite restaurant for dining in and having a good time. The hours of operation are awesome, the staff are always wonderful, the atmosphere is full of laughter and upbeat, food is always 10/10, the fish is always extremely fresh, and delicious. I love all their speciality rolls especially. I will always come to Konas locations for sushi! 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was a bit surprised by the high ratings for Kona Sushi. I travel across Ontario for business and dine out multiple times a week, so I’ve experienced quite a few AYCE sushi restaurants throughout the province. Unfortunately, Kona didn’t stand out to me.
The food was decent, but I found the variety more limited compared to other AYCE spots I’ve visited. I was also surprised by the additional surcharge for sashimi, which I haven’t encountered elsewhere. And they don’t seem to know the difference between sushi and a sushi roll. I’m wondering if Kona is owned by a white North American person which would explain a lot. That said, the service was excellent, attentive, friendly, and efficient, which I truly appreciated.
Overall, it was an okay experience, just not on par with other sushi restaurants I’ve tried. I wouldn’t necessarily discourage others from going, but personally, I don’t plan to return.

Vivian provided excellent service throughout our visit. She was polite, quick, and checked in at all the right times without being intrusive. Was there a few days ago. $40 (dinner price) for AYCE sushi that did not include Nigiri or Sashimi, those were $12 extra.
I ordered the nigiri /sashimi add on and noted the cuts were strangely shaped like they were scraps from other things made. They also had a limit of the sashimi you can order.
If you wanted desert they charged $1 per scoop of ice cream.
Taste of everything was decent but for $52 plus tax not including desert there are much better options with better menu selection.
Comparable places in the are $40 with everything included. This would include sushi, sashimi and dessert. I would also say the sashimi is better elsewhere.
