I don’t review place often, but I wanted to leave a review for the Apopka Kona Poke location. I’ve been eating here since they opened, usually 1-2 per month. This location is always clean, and the atmosphere is is wonderful. The food here is quite good. I’ve never had an issue with food here, but I can assure you that if I did, it would be take care of.
The main reason I’m leaving this review is because whoever manages/owns this location must be quite nice because their employees are wonderful. It’s always been the same handful of folks working here and they’re always nice. I brought my 87 year old father out to eat here when he was visiting and even he was impressed with the place. We ate here 2x per week while he was visiting. It’s a nice quiet shop with REALLY nice people who work here, and also fantastic food. Keep up the great work!

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! Went with my wife for dinner and the first thing was being greeted with a smile. From there they helped us building our bowls while explaining the difference between some of the ingredients we weren’t too familiar with. Food was great but what made this experience amazing was the staff. Thank you Earl and Jadyn!

Kona Poke absolutely knocked it out of the park for our large corporate event in Apopka. They arrived right on time, set everything up neatly, and kept the entire presentation organized and easy for guests to move through. The setup looked great and made serving a big group feel smooth and stress-free.
Most importantly: the food was a huge hit. We had plenty for everyone—so much that people went back for seconds—and the quality held up beautifully for a large crowd. This was a big winner for our team, and we’ll definitely be using Kona Poke again for future events. Highly recommend! I would give them 10 stars I could!!

Great food, fun environment, and top-notch service! The poke bowls are amazing, but I really love the honey sriracha chicken bowl as well (especially with cilantro added). The staff is very helpful and offers samples to help with decision-making. The fountain drinks feature a fun selection of unusual sodas, plus tea and juices. I found that the strawberry-dragonfruit is great to mix with some iced tea. We also tried the Dole Whip, which we’ve heard about, and it lives up to the hype! (It’s pretty much like the Dole Whip at the Disney parks.) Overall a great experience and we look forward to stopping by again. 🙂

We used to go to the Sus Hi Eatstation, but stopped a while back because the quality of service had dropped below our acceptance level.
We started to go to Kona Poke here in Apopka after they opened recently. They have only one size (except for the kids menu), but the toppings are good and they pack them in.
The only problem I’ve run across the last two times I’ve been there is that the chicken I ordered was not the Bourbon chicken. It was the regular grilled chicken and I also found it cold not hot.
The sauces seem to be a mix. When you order online you get to pick 3 sauces. What if I wanted 3 of the same sauce? The website doesn’t have that option. I put in the special request box what I want, but I never seem to get what I ask for, and family members do not seem to always get what they want either (for the sauces).
Overall, I like this better than any other Poke bowl out there. I think their best attribute is the toppings. The flavors are good. The price is good.

Our first time in and it was a great experience. The options were clearly explained and our food was ready quickly. It was so good! I had the bourbon chicken and my friends had tuna, fish dip, and salmon. Some excellent drink choices also.

Just wanted to get some Poke on the way home. We came here and loved it. The food was delicious and the customer service by Shaun was great. Very knowledgeable of the sauces and helpful. We tried the watermelon and pineapple ice cream that was great too. We got a build your own poke bowl (not picture because we ate it all) and the ice cream.

When you feel like eating something “light” but filling at the same time, Kona Poké is a great option! One of the best in Apopka for sure.
The staff has been very friendly and helpful. Also Tuesday they have a few promotions.
The price is higher than for example, Chipotle or next door Tropical Cafe. The difference is 2-3 dollars per “plate”.

I love poke and am so glad they finally opened up a new poke spot in town. All the fish and toppings are fresh and delicious! Their sauces are also very yummy. Not only is the food good but the staff is great as well. Mo and Skylar were attentive and kind while we dined at Kona Poke. Definitely good to see their staff going out of their way to make our dining experience great!

We entered at dusk, looking for something to quench our hunger. We were greeted by the unfamiliar announcement that there was no white rice , the main ingredient was no longer. Despite waiting for a new batch to be made, we were still left bedazzled by the staff’s demeanor. During the service, the lady who took our order was visibly distressed about our sauce selection and combination. “What is eel sauce” she proclaims. Other than the unwelcoming experience, the food was solid. Overall, the food was dragged down by the “nice” staff. Would not recommend.
