One day a coworker suggested Kona Hawaiian BBQ, and it’s become our favorite lunch spot ever since!
The price-to-quality ratio is way superior to dozens of other restaurants I’ve tried. Imagine spending the same money for a combo of a frozen meal at a fast food joint?
I always get the Fried White Fish, perfectly cooked, super fresh and my coworkers always rave about the incredible value of the combo meat plates.
Everything here is cooked and served fresh to order. It’s authentic, satisfying, and simply the best bang for the buck, period!

Loved this little BBQ reasturant!
The food was delicious, the service was very welcoming, and the atmospherewas perfect to fit the Kona Hawaiian BBQ!
I ordered the beef and chicken BBQ combo, was thoroughly pleased! The potions are good sized, the BBQ was freash, the macaroni salad was delicious, perfectly paired with rice, broccoli, and cabbage!
The service was the service was very friendly with good vibes! They were very kind!
The atmosphere is very much on point for a Hawaiian reasturant!
Definitely going back agian to enjoy more of their awesome food!

It’s a very popular place and was busy on our visit, my plus one in life ordered the Kona plate with chicken katsu, and i ordered the
Aloha plate with chicken katsu and kalua pork. Other than the salad both came out looking the same, every order is made to go weather your staying or going. My plus one says that all the salad consisted of was lettuce and 3 cucumber slices on the top, so she won’t be ordering that again next visit. I had a scoop of rice and a scoop of macaroni salad with my order, the rice was well rice, and the macaroni salad was flavorful but just macaroni salad. My plus one and i agreed that the Katsu chicken was good and the pulled pork was really good, there was a Layer of cooked lettuce underneath mine, and two undercooked pieces of broccoli, didn’t eat either one, both were undercooked. Overall it was tasty food but a bit overpriced for the amount, some tasty Meats with a lot of cheap filler. I could see myself eating here again but I wouldn’t go out of my way.

Stopped in for a business lunch. First time ever trying this restaurant. Very clean and the staff was friendly. I had the chicken beef and ribs combo plate white rice and macaroni salad and veggies. All was very fresh and delicious I will be sure to be back.

I love this place. I’ve been a regular here for the last 2 years and every time I’ve had a great experience. Food is always hot and fresh. All of their protein options are very good. They have around 6 tables inside, but they go pretty fast during the lunch hour. I always recommend this place to my friends and coworkers.

One of the best places to eat at in Denver. I go to denver once a year and I make it my priority to go to kona Hawaiian BBQ. Food is always prepared fresh and fast. You have to complete your experience with the hawaiian drinks as well. Over all great restaurant. Ill be back again next year…

Aloha! Having lived on O’ahu for a couple years, absolutely love Hawaiian food. This place won’t let you down. Similar to L&L. The Kona Fire Chicken was great – not overly spicy, but just right for flavor. Dumplings (pretty sure it was Gyoza to be honest), were awesome. And they have Hawaiian Sun in a can – you gotta have the Pass-O-Guava – paradise in a can.
