We had an amazing experience at this place. Our food came out very fast, which was a big plus, and everything was absolutely delicious. The rolls were incredibly fresh, the fish was tender, and the avocado was perfectly ripe. The flavors were well balanced, not too heavy on sauces, just really enjoyable. You can tell the chefs care about quality. We honestly loved every bite and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

– decent but slow-

Food: 4 stars
Price: 3 stars
Service: 3 stars
Ambiance: 3 stars
Overall: 3.25 stars

We came in around 1:30pm on a Saturday and it’s empty, so we got to use one of their reserved parking spot in front of the restaurant. The restaurant is small and has 19 seats. They were playing American pop and it feels like a grab and go place instead of a restaurant.

We were greeted upon entry and the waitress gave us the menu without a smile on her face. The price is on the higher end, so we ordered a spicy chicken teriyaki for $15.75 and a magu ham roll for $18.25. The price is comparable to the Thai place in the same plaza, but that place has a huge serving size.

Despite being empty without us, the food took more than 10 minutes.. a bit slow, but it’s decent. The fish in the roll was fresh and the spicy teriyaki was decent. It’s not the siracha type of spicy, but more subtle. A good thing is that they are not stingy about sauce, so I can see why everyone likes this place. I’m fine either way, so it was a bit too saucy for me (both the salad and the teriyaki bowl).

Overall it’s a good restaurant to eat around Kirkland Costco, the food was fresh but just a bit slow.

Went in with my boyfriend at 8:15 (terrible I know) and they were so kind!! Service was incredibly fast! As I’m writing this, it’s 8:45 and I’m paid, out the door and in the car. We ordered the udon bowl, tuna tempura roll and a fried prawn app and it was all so good. Our meal was only 40$!! Clearly made with love and skill. I’ll definitely be back soon!!

This is a hidden gem! Our party of 6 got right in! I ordered the mixed poke bowl without rice and extra veggies; delicious!!!
My husband and daughter ordered the crunchy California, spicy California, and shrimp tempura rolls. They say the rolls were flavorful, spicy, and perfectly sized!
I only have a photo of the poke bowl because a roll is a roll

Happily surprised by this cute sushi place in Rose hill. Rolls were fresh, tasty and well made. We ordered the kiss of fire roll and a couple of classic rolls which were pretty good as well. The owners seemed friendly. Service was quick. Highly recommend.

What they lack in space they make up for in freshness, flavor and presentation. Tried lots of different rolls and the chicken teriyaki w gyoza and it was all amazing. P.S. komorebi is a Japanese word for light peeking through the leaves of trees and casting patterns. Perfect name for a such a little spot with such beautiful food.

Had great food in the past. Recent visit we received Salmon Nigiri that neither I or my son could bite through. Shouldn’t need a knife to eat sushi.

Had Poke combo and Eel Bento box.

Good quality of food, very fulfilling experience. Seems to be run by a family. A bit slow but that was ok and chill. Instead of huge lineup and crowd waiting, I truly enjoyed the meal.

Ordered Salmon box and it was so cute how it was displayed and for the price it was pretty good. It came with a bowl of miso soup and salad. We asked if we ordered online for pick-up if the soup/salad sides will come with it, and they confirmed they do.

Udon noodles were nice chewy texture, the broth was very tasty and not bland.
Mixed poke bowl was confirmed yummy by family member 🙂
Fish tasted fresh and not fishy. We have a family member very picky on fish. She is not a fan of raw fish except for spicy tuna rolls. But tasting some of the mixed poke, she confirmed no fishy taste or smell, she was able to enjoy the food.

Very cute small restaurant, went after 5pm on a Friday so it was not busy. But the road to get there was busy due to costco shoppers
